Keeper Comes Up Aces With Latest Single/Video- “Alright//Too Slow”

We recently had the distinct honor to check out the latest single/video, for “Alright//Too Slow”, from rising South London Pop-Punk gem Keeper. You can listen to “Alright//Too Slow” on Spotify Here, Apple Music Here

You can check out the blazing video, for “Alright//Too Slow” ( which is an absolute work of art) below

“Alright//Too Slow “, from Keeper, is an infectious adrenaline rush, that we simply can’t get out of our soul!

Following on from the release of his latest singles ‘Taste It’ and ‘Cynical’ – which garnered high praise from BBC Radio 1 Introducing Rock show host Alyx Holcombe and others –  Keeper explores recovery and self-love in his latest single ‘Alright/Too Slow’.

On ‘Alright/Too Slow’, Keeper’s Emanuel Andrade shared ‘This track […] is about acknowledging the damage and pain but refusing to let it define you. It’s about pulling yourself up, moving on, and chasing the goals that once felt hindered by the relationship.’

Discussing the lyrical content, Keeper continued – ‘one of my favorite moments is the fourth-wall break after the solo: ‘It’s so hard to accept the fact that I’m feeling better alone. You’re losing sleep and I’m out here, still singing this song’. That line hits especially hard because, despite being blocked, my ex has found new ways to reach out—new Instagram accounts, new numbers. It’s honestly terrifying, and this song is a very real reflection of that for me. When I find myself in those moments, I listen back—almost like I’m speaking to myself. It makes me realize just how much I’ve changed, how far I’ve come, and all the steps I’ve taken—not just to get back to normal, but to be better.’

There is so much to love about, Keeper, and his electrifying approach to music, it honestly is so refreshing to hear an artist who doesn’t take their foot off the gas, even for a second.

Music is meant to be exciting and exhilarating, and you definitely get that on “Alright//Too Slow” from Keeper

It is in our opinion, not if Keeper, will be the next big thing but…. When

Artwork by Tegh Rataul (@teghrataul)

We recently had the opportunity to check out the new single, “XO”, from Sophie Powers and producer RJ Pasin. You can listen to , “XO” Here

“XO”, is an explosive new single that plunges into a chaotic, cinematic soundscape where hyperpop’s frenetic energy collides with the raw power of metalcore.

XO” captures the emotional volatility of a generation overwhelmed by societal pressure but unwilling to stay silent. With piercing, unapologetic vocals and a sharp lyrical perspective, Sophie cuts through the noise with fearless clarity. The result is a track that feels both defiant and cathartic, grounded in Sophie’s emotionally unfiltered delivery and signature melodic punch.

“‘XO’ is pure femme fatale energy—like kissing destruction on the mouth,” Sophie shares. “Working with RJ Pasin unlocked this wild sonic tension I’ve been chasing for a while. It’s the sound of me stepping into womanhood, claiming my power, and still recklessly chasing chaos like it’s love. As Hannah Montana said, sometimes you really do get the best of both worlds—and this song is proof. My voice wraps around RJ’s guitar in a way that feels both raw and hypnotic, but it’s that mysterious, unhinged energy that gives ‘XO’ its heartbeat.”

Driving the track’s sonic intensity is RJ Pasin, the multi-hyphenate producer known for fusing cinematic metalcore with emo rap and electronic math rock. RJ injects “XO” with glitch-heavy textures, punishing breakdowns, and a jolt of unpredictability. With over 300 million solo streams and credits alongside Sexy Redd, Flo Milli, Bring Me The Horizon, and more, RJ brings both subcultural grit and forward-thinking precision to the collaboration, amplifying Sophie’s voice without ever overshadowing it.

“XO”, from Sophie Powers, featuring RJ Pasin, is an electrifying, powerful thrill ride of a track that we are absolutely mesmerized by.

Keeper teams up with Tally Spear on Brilliant New Emo-Infused-Hyper-Pop single ‘Cynical’

We recently had the distinct honor, to check out the new single, “Cynical”, from UK, Hyper-Pop-Punk star-in-the-making Keeper , featuring  ‘emo-flecked pop’ queen Tally Spear. You can listen to “Cynical”Here You can watch the video for “Cynical” which, was shot and edited by Tom Redford below

We absolutely love “Cynical”, from Keeper, featuring Tally Spear. “Cynical” is one of those mesmerizing and electrifying songs that once you hear it , you can’t resist it. The perfectly placed melody and words make “Cynical” stand out like a perfect shooting star flying through the atmosphere. We were absolutely smitten.

South London’s Keeper explores the end of love, life and blissful childhood innocence in brand new single ‘Cynical’, written and recorded in collaboration with Tally Spear.

Written alongside Spear, Jon Cass (As Everything Unfolds) and Matt Thorne, ‘Cynical’ takes the shape of a 2000’s inspired pop-rock track – combining inspiration from the likes of Avril Lavigne and Busted with qmhyper-pop stars Aries and Ryan Hall. This blend of noughties nostalgia and glitchy maximalism creates unforgettable earworm material – key to the Keeper sound.

On ‘Cynical’, Keeper’s Emanuel Andrade shares ‘This song came to life about a month after a painful, drawn-out breakup—on top of the death of my Grandad and my Dad losing his job, which left my mum panicking about the house. That breakup – ending a three-to-four-year relationship – had me blasting tracks from the bands I used to love, drowning myself in nostalgia.’

Cynicalwas the first song I wrote that year, setting the sonic tone for the rest of the EP. At the time, I was still deep in the mess of everything – right at the point where I had finally ripped off the plaster. Lyrically, Cynical was easy. I was completely in my own head that month—overthinking everything and desperate for a verbal outlet. Cynical took a melancholic, self-reflective route; the true beginning of my healing journey.’

There is no better feeling than having a song hit so perfectly…. This is definitely the case with “Cynical”

Upcoming dates:

April 25th – Black Heart, London (supporting Newshapes and Glassbridges)
