“In Pursuit Of,” is the next single off the band’s upcoming sophomore album, Plagued By The Human Condition, out soon on New Age Records.

“In Pursuit Of” turns an instantly memorable heartland rock riff into a devastatingly sung admission of regret and loss. Singer Steve Jennings says, Matters of the heart are always risky. ‘In Pursuit Of’ is about knowing those risks and deciding to chase the love your heart wants anyway…even though it might break in the end”

“In Pursuit Of” from Spark Of Life , is a sonically please track that is brimming of melodic wonder .

Spark Of Life,is that formed in the suburbs of Los Angeles almost 25 years ago, this life has been anything but predictable. In their original formation, the band-comprised of various musicians over the years, but always centered around the songwriting nucleus of singer Steve Jennings and guitarist Nicholas Piscitello

Awesome Band Alert: Treasure Pains Deliver Melodic Greatness With New Single “Blowout”

Band features members of fellow North Carolina bands and Wiretap label mates, WolvesxWolvesxWolvesxWolves and Youth League

We recently had the amazing opportunity to check out Durham,NC Post Hardcore band Treasure Pains and their new single “Blowout” . You can listen to “Blowout” Here

We are all in on Durham,NC post hardcore band Treasure Pains and their killer new single “Blowout” The band recently signed with LA-based indie Wiretap Records, to release their debut EP “Charming” out later this Fall.

Treasure Pains was formed through collaborative writing sessions with Jessi and Zach (Youth League). It gradually evolved to include close friends Kellette and Kyle (wolvesx4). The Post-Hardcore band produces a uniquely melancholic and aggressive sound, which is complemented by an impressively tireless force of driving energy.

“Blowout” is the second single from the new EP “Charming “ following the equally awesome single “Vines” which was released in August. “Blowout” really places the spotlight on the stellar musicianship of Treasure Pains . We especially love the beginning of “Blowout “ it has almost a surf/60’s vibe that we love.

“‘Blowout’ started with a riff idea I thought would fit well with what Zach and I were writing. The lyrics came to me when I was sick with a high fever. It felt like any noises I’d hear sort of appeared as a flash in my vision, even though it was actually a sound. Made me think of my inner wiring malfunction.” Jessi Knop

It is such a cool feeling when we hear an amazing band for the first time, it makes us want to shout from the rooftops. Everyone is always looking for something cool to listen to . Look no further than “Blowout” from Treasure Pains .
