You Definitely Should Check Out “Bookstore” from Yard Sign

We recently had the stellar opportunity to check out the new single “Bookstore” from Yard Sign . You can listen to “Bookstore” Here.

Yard Sign is an online punk rock band, one-man folk punk act and Tik Tok Emo from Columbus, Ohio. They specialize in songs about life, love, loss and Star Wars. No matter the incarnation, Yard Sign is a variety of musical outputs led by Scott Marks, an elder millennial punk rock Swemo originally from New York, but calling central Ohio home for the past decade.

We instantly felt drawn to “Bookstore” from Yard Sign. It’s a smartly crafted song that has a memorable melody that we happily enjoyed having it stay in our head long after the music ended .

Coming of musical age in both the New York hardcore and pop-punk scenes, Marks played all different instruments for all different bands before settling into middle-agedom in the Midwest.

After 10+ years of musical semi-retirement, Yard Sign emerged from the pandemic, churning out full-band punk rock (and adjacent) anthems on the internet and leading sing-along kazoo parties across Ohio and beyond in their one-of-a-kind-one-man pop-folk-punk shows.

When asked about “Bookstore”, Scott Marks shares , Bookstore’ is kind of a Frankenstein of different song ideas. I always wanted to write a song called ‘bookstore’. I’m a big reader and fan of romantic comedies, so bookstores are kind of a sacred place to me. Movies like ‘You’ve Got Mail’, ‘Notting Hill’, ‘When Harry Met Sally’, all about bookstores! Then one day I was scrolling through the internet and was presented with a meme from one of those ‘words are my porn’ kinda pages that said “someone telling you they read the book you recommended is the ultimate love language” or something like that. So the idea for the song was basically the opposite of that; someone NOT reading the book you recommended to them. I picked up the ukulele and the line ‘had an idea, but it was stupid’, just came right out. The rest of the song kind of wrote itself from there. I wanted it to feel like that middle act in a rom-com where the two leads breakup/fallout/get sad at each other. Sad, longing, but maybe also a little hopeful.”

So find your favorite music listening spot and get lost in “Bookstore” from Yard Sign.

Already Dead Delivers An Absolute Gem With New Record “Something Like A War”

Album release party set for July 27 at Lowell’s Thirsty First with Lenny Lashley and others

We recently had the opportunity to check out the much anticipated new record from Massachusetts Punks, Already Dead . And.. it did not disappoint. “Something Like A War” from Already Dead, consist of 14 well crafted songs that touch both the mind and soul.

You can listen to “Something Like A War “ on Spotify Here , Apple Music Here and Bandcamp Here

“Something Like A War “ grabs your attention right from the start . The Opening track “The Spirit Of Massachusetts Avenue” is a well written , loud and proud anthem of a song that doesn’t let up for a second.

Every single song on “Something Like A War” is brimming with authenticity and truth . It is crystal clear that vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter Dan Cummings is not afraid to speak his mind (there is no sugar coating going on at all ) He has also assembled a group of musicians ( Brandon Bartlett, guitar, Brian Ferrazzani, bass and Nick Cali, bass) that add the perfect punch and attitude to his powerful lyrics.

Something Like A War, both the song and the album, are filled with the type of intensity we all need in facing our daily lives – and maintains the Already Dead working class ethos, positioned steadfast as a
voice for labor movements and working class solidarity. And besides, there’s no chance of a
sophomore slump when the moniker is nicked from baseball, yet another way Already Dead areembedded in Boston culture.
I was watching the Ken Burns documentary on baseball,” Cummings admits, “and heard the Ty Cobb
quote about how ‘every game is something like a war’. It immediately resonated with me for a few reasons .First it just sounds badass
[laughs]. But also to describe approaching something with that
kind of intensity and determination struck a chord.”

What we love about “Something Like A War” is that it is a record that is full of brilliantly constructed songs . We live in era where everyone is going for the “single” it’s a nice change of pace to hear an album that kicks ass from top to bottom . From “One Foot”, “Rock Bottom” , “Wits End” and our personal favorite “When You were Great” Something Like A War “ is an album that needs to be heard and played loud .

Urban Heat Turns It Up With Latest Gem “You’ve Got That Edge”

We recently had the amazing opportunity to check out the new single “You’ve Got That Edge” from Urban Heat .

You can listen to “You’ve Got That Edge” on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here

Post-punk darkwave underground faves Urban Heat absolutely slay with their latest single “You’ve Got That Edge “ which is from their upcoming album “The Tower” due on August 16th .

Credit Cathlin McCullough

Urban Heat artfully fusion of electronic and post-punk styles with an uncanny ability to write undeniably universal drop intoxicating hooks, the Austin-based band gives incredible and rousing performance, too – they’re currently on an extensive US Summer tour, which will be followed by a European tour with Molchat Doma in the fall.

Lead singer Jonathan Horstmann says of the upcoming single, “This track is for anyone who looks in the mirror and doesn’t feel like the reflection is a good representation of who they really are… We wanted to remind anyone who feels isolated that they are a force of nature.

This was the first song written for The Tower (their upcoming album out August 16th), and sonically it gave us permission to go to so many places. The verse is very synthpop but we bring in big guitars with a halftime breakdown. It’s a damn anthem. So many of our songs are about anxiety and fear and pain and it seems right to have something that feels so supportive emotionally to get everyone ready for the rest of the record. ‘Cause the rest of it hurts, lol.”

Credit Cathlin McCullough

We absolutely love everything about Urban Heat and their latest single “You Got That Edge “ Urban Heat , is a prime example of a band who isn’t afraid to bring a fresh inventive style and sound to a somewhat mundane musical landscape.

Vancouver, Canada Skatepunk Rock Band The Corps Announces New Members

Vancouver, Canada Skatepunk Band The Corps Announces New Members

In preparation for a busy 2024, Vancouver’s skatepunk powerhouse THE CORPS has undergone a lineup change.

Canadian skatepunk outfit THE CORPS (Thousand Islands Records) recently announced the amicable departure of bassist Ronnie Ellis and guitarist Andrew Pederson on the band’s social media.

In their place, The Corps have enlisted Vancouver punk rock veterans Morgan Farrell (ATD, Blacked Out, Bishops Green) on guitar and Dave Derksen (ATD, Little Fix, Whiskey River Gun Club) on bass. Both Morgan and Dave will make their debut with the band in March of this year.

“We’re really happy for Dave and Morgan to be joining The Corps,” says guitarist and lead vocalist Danny Garrison. “Ronnie and Andrew left some pretty big shoes to fill, but since Morgan and Dave are actual giants I’m confident we will hit the stage stronger than ever. Literally.”

The Corps have a new full-length album to be released on Montreal’s Thousand Islands Records this spring (release date TBA). Ronnie and Andrew’s final show with the band will be February 21 at the Rickshaw Theatre in Vancouver with California ska-punk legends, Mad Caddies.

Barcelona, Spain Punks Blowfuse Deliver New Single And Video For “Move On “

We recently had the opportunity to check out the new single “Move On” from Barcelona punks Blowfuse. You can listen to “Move On” on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here

You can check out the video for “Move On” below.

Influenced by 80’s and 90’s punk rock waves and the skateboard lifestyle, Blowfuse crafts a style all its own, mixing the aggressiveness of hardcore punk, the catchy melodies of 90’s punk rock, the powerful classic rock riffs, with acidic and paranoid lyrics.

The new single “Move On” is the first of the new album which will be out in 2024! “Move On is a call to action and change. Its direct message conveys a sense of empowerment and the necessity of freeing oneself from the past to find a new direction in life.”, says singer Oscar Puig. The detrimental habit of complaining and self-pitying won’t do anything but increase frustration. Only by accepting reality and taking responsibility can you navigate towards a new direction.

Blowfuse are an amazing band with a brilliant sound. We hear shades of The Offspring on “Move On “ but Blowfuse has their own sound that we absolutely love

“Move On” will be out digitally today (December 15) , being presented by SBÄM, HFMN Crew, Epidemic Records and Infected Records.

Scumbags Deliver Epic New Album “So Many Ways…”

We recently had the opportunity to check out the killer new album “So Many Ways..” from Brazilian punks Scumbags . You can listen to “So Many Ways..” on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here

If we’re being honest … listening to “So Many Ways..” from Scumbags was probably the best 39 minutes and 56 seconds we have spent in a while .

“So Many Ways..” is the band’s second album and while it has the same melodiand sonic goodness from their first record “Sour Days” there is definitely signs of maturity on “So Many Ways”

I think that since our first album, Sour Days, we have matured a lot in terms of composition and arrangements. We started hearing new references and brought them to our songs.” reports Chris Oliveira, the band’s drummer.

This maturity is already evident in production. Part of the album was recorded at Forest Lab, in Rio de Janeiro, a studio specialized in completely analog recording. And another part was recorded at Eletric Meduza, a recording studio located in Brusque, Santa Catarina, which also works with analogue elements in the recordings.

For Chris, the new songs will bring a different feel to what people are used to hearing in Scumbags. “The upcoming album will bring a new aesthetic to the band, a new sound. No longer the 90s punk rock that we are used to playing, but we are going to bring more risky and different things.”

Right from start, “So May Ways..”delivers … The title track “So Many Ways..” kicks off an album full of pure punk rock bliss.

Scumbags have a familiar sound but they have a style that is all their own, and it absolutely kicks ass .

Standout tracks on the album include “Elected”, “Sticks And Stones” , Through This Sidewalk and “Remedy”

So find a good spot and loose yourself in the punk brilliance of Scumbags.

We were absolutely stoked to check out the new video for “Not A Phase” from San Diego punks Strike Twelve

Not A Phase” is off the trio’s recent album ‘Last Band Standing’– out now on Thousand Islands Records.

Watch the video for “Not A Phase – Below

The band says, ““Not a Phase” is the opening track on our newest full-length “Last Band Standing,” which was released June 30, 2023 on Thousand Islands Records.

The music video is a compilation of archived videos, photos and flyers from our 20+ years as a band. It was painstakingly pieced together by the one and only Felony Ron of @Felony Films / Felony Records.

We joke around that when people like our wives first met us, they thought the band was a temporary phase. Now, decades later, we’re still going strong. While being in a band has great potential to be disruptive to the rest our lives, it is in fact the glue that holds us together.”

“Not A Phase” is both sonically and melodically pleasing . Strike Twelve, is most definitely on their A GAME with “Not A Phase

Everyone is always asking what is good in the world of music? We think that “Not A Phase” is a song and a video you need to check out .

Raisin Awareness Share Epic New Single “Date Knight”

We here at The Whole Kameese love a song with a good groove , and “Date Knight” from UK indie punk band Raisin Awareness has an absolutely insane groove! You can listen to Date Knight Here

Date Knight” – a heartfelt track that chronicles the trials and triumphs of starting something new in adulthood, blending raw emotion with an infectious rhythm that encourages listeners to embrace the music and dance along.

Jo D, the band’s lead vocalist, and guitarist, says, “In ‘Date Knight’, we’ve opened our hearts out about the struggles and joys of starting something new in adulthood. We started the band in 2020, and while Rob (drums) is a seasoned musician, it was something very new for Daggi (bass) and I.”

I reference dancing and skating in particular because I love both. While I have no hesitation about expressing myself through dance, I know others do, and I want to encourage them that there is no ‘one’ way to dance, as long as it feels good. Bring out your inner Ace Ventura, everyone!!”

As for skating, I started in my mid-thirties, but adulthood should never be a barrier to new beginnings. The resonating words of a cherished friend – ‘never give up’ – serve as my guiding light. Despite the struggles, I persist, for the sheer joy it brings me —from the activity itself to meeting people in the skating community— is irreplaceable.”

Date Knight ” is a song that echoes our frustration of playing shows for free as a new band, but it also echoes our absolute love for making music. It’s a bittersweet journey, but one we wouldn’t change.”

We love everything about Raisin Awareness. We love how they mix honesty and melodies.“Date Knight” has a heartfelt message and it also inspires you to dance like no one is watching.

Photo: Rocio Arcenegui

“Algorithm “ from Fabled Mind is what happens when you combine excellent punk rock mixed with science fiction and push play It is a spectacular musical experience that we can’t stop listening to it

The band has teamed up with Thousand Islands Records (CANADA) Lockjaw Records (UK) and Nasty Cut Records (EU)for the release of ‘Project Paradise’ on vinyl. The LP takes listeners on a captivating narrative journey, inviting them to contemplate their own existence in an ever-evolving world shaped by technological advancements

The band writes, The protagonist grapples with his thoughts being controlled by the AI system Project Paradise, prompting questions about free will. The lyrics reference digital algorithms shaping online experiences and those in human cognition, emphasizing the need to understand our thought processes, question beliefs and avoid echo chambers. Exploring our minds’ complexities enables us to navigate the information landscape with awareness, recognizing the influence of algorithms on our perception of the world.

Algorithm’ descends upon the listener with an eerie and foreboding introduction, fusing ethereal spacey elements with mechanical sounds. Haunting screams and a menacing riff set the stage, forewarning of an unseen menace. The song swiftly transforms into an aggressive and melodic skatepunk track, with a sense of anticipation for what lies ahead.

We are beyond thrilled to check out the new red hot new single and video for “What I Cannot Be” from UK punks Darko

You can listen to “What I Cannot Be” on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here you can also check out the video below

There is never a shortage of true passion and authenticity in the music from Darko , their new single “What I Cannot Be” is blazing fast and full of truth and honesty .

Melodic skate punk will always be in the DNA of Darko, but sometimes it just isn’t angry enough for the subject matter”, frontman Tom West said of the striking departure from the band’s established sound.

What I Cannot Be” kicks off the upcoming 5 track “Greyscale”. Producer Will Duff of Goliath Studios returns to the desk for the nihilistic second chapter of a trilogy preceeded by 2022’s genre-bending “Sparkle”.

Across the pummeling two-minute new single, West savagely condemns “neanderthal hardmen” and traditional expectations of masculinity.

Having focused on how the patriarchy principally harms women and marginalised genders in Sparkle’s opener “The Ladder”, this time around I needed to vent about the significant toll it also takes on men and boys”, explains West.

Being pushed into boxes based on redundant stereotypes hurts everyone.”

Punk legends T.S.O.L. release soundtrack to documentary film IGNORE HEROES

The original motion picture soundtrack of the T.S.O.L. documentary IGNORE HEROES is now available digitally and on vinyl via DC-Jam Records and record stores worldwide.

The soundtrack is composed by band member Greg Kuehn and includes his piano interpretations of classic T.S.O.L songs, interspersed with spoken word by punk legend and band frontman Jack Grisham.

You can listen to “IGNORE HEROES Here

Directed by Grisham, IGNORE HEROES tells the story of the original T.S.O.L. through interviews with the surviving members and those who were there with them in the madness of the early Californian punk rock scene.

Jack Grisham is an unconventional artist, and his directorial debut film is an unconventionally structured documentary that tells the fractured fairytale of one of the most violent bands in American history. T.S.O.L. exploded onto the Southern California hardcore punk scene in 1978 from the ashes of the notoriously antisocial Long Beach band Vicious Circle and, over the span of five foundational years, managed to record two EPs and two LPs with Grisham that continue to find new audiences 40 years later. Singer/songwriter Grisham was the handsome and hulking suburban ringmaster who commandeered audiences of thousands and was poised to become something of an accidental death rock revolutionary before dropping out of the scene to pursue synthesizer-oriented music and his own personal demons. Through colorful standup monologues, raw archival footage, animation and interviews with the people who made it all happen, IGNORE HEROES candidly contextualizes the excesses that fueled the inexorable crash and burn of TRUE SOUNDS OF LIBERTY!”

Greg Kuehn, originally a classical pianist, shifted to punk in Orange County, joining punk icons T.S.O.L. and producing the acclaimed “Beneath the Shadows” album. He later collaborated with artists like Bob Dylan, The Church, Berlin, and Megan Mullally, and performs occasionally with LA punk band X, stepping in for the late Ray Manzarek of The Doors. His latest EP ‘Medicine Man’ is out now via DC Jam Records.

Upcoming Show:

January 6 – Observatory- Santa Ana, CA (with guests 45 Grave, Bad Cop Bad Cop, The Detours, Taken Days The Venomous Pinks and more).

We are beyond thrilled for “Ignore Heroes “ This definitely one documentary you can not miss.

UK Trio Raisin Awareness Release “Living Colour”, Urging Society to Break the Cycle of Miscommunication and Self-Involvement

Artwork- Daggie Wieczorek

We are not going to pull punches here… we love everything about UK trio Raisin Awareness. We were psyched to check out their new single and video for “Living Colour

You can listen to “Living Colour “ on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here

You can watch the video for “Living Colour” below. The video was filmed and edited by Rob Piper

Jo D, the band’s lead vocalist, and guitarist, says, Put simply, Living Colour is about our inability to actively or compassionately listen to one another, particularly when communicating needs and wants in a relationship, because we’re all so desperate to feel heard.

This is why the song repeats ‘…heard it all before…’ because sometimes it feels like the same conversation occurs over and over, and that it’s just going around in circles. No solution or agreement is reached.

When I refer to “all the shameful things in the world” and imply that we all just walk by ignoring them, it touches on how self involved we can be and if we took a step back to really see the bigger picture, maybe we can all be more kind, compassionate and understanding of one another.

As much as I try, I am fully aware of how guilty I am of not compassionately or actively listening, and how self involved I can be sometimes, but the awareness I have of this flaw means I’m at least able to try a little harder.

Communication isn’t just about speaking, it’s about listening too. I think we sometimes forget that.”

Raisin Awareness is a passionate pop-punk band hailing from the UK. The band formed in 2020 during lockdown when Jo (vocals/guitar) and Rob (drums) seized their creative opportunity. Soon after, Daggi joined on bass, making them an unshakable musical trifecta inspired by bands such as Hot Mulligan, The Swellers, The Flatliners & The Menzingers, and an 80s/90s mashup of genres.

Raisin Awareness are able to brilliantly bring an electrifying sound that is both melodically and sonically pleasing. “Living Colour” is simply a can’t miss track .

Credit Jen Rosenstein

The band once again enlisted longtime collaborator John Fields (Jimmy Eat World, All Time Low, Meet Me At the Altar) who is responsible for the bulk of production credit.

The infectious track “Night Owl” is the kind of song that could a start a dance party out of thin air . You can watch the video for “Night Owl” below

Another standout track on “Night Owls” is “When We’re Sober “ which is the current single . As a band who writes songs about knowing how to party, we can honestly say we’re pretty good at it. But we also know testing limits means maybe you’re not so sure about your own. “When We’re Sober” isn’t an anti-drinking song, and it’s not a pro-drinking song. It’s more about acknowledging how easy it is to lose control of something when you aren’t aware of your own tendencies.” — says singer / bassist Kelly Ogden

You can check out the official lyric video for “When We’re Sober” below

We really like the track “Tree Sways” Kelly’s vocal performance is off the charts. The orchestral parts on “Tree Sways “ are absolutely stunning.

When we do a review we like to pick one song that is our favorite. However, on album like “Night Owl’s it’s almost impossible to do . But, in the end the one track that really stood out is the final track on the album “A New England” Every thing about this track is positively magnificent. It is a beautifully crafted song that is well written and both melodically and sonically pleasing.

We might be old school but we really enjoyed the lyrics on “Night Owl’s “ We are big fans of lyrics here at the Whole Kameese and enjoyed learning and singing the beautifully written on the album.

The Atom Age Deliver an Atomically Awesome New Video and Single “New Season “

Credit – Shelby June Photography

If you don’t feel instantly compelled to start dancing up a storm when you hear the latest single and video “New Season “ from Bay cArea garage rockers The Atom Age…. You may want to check for a pulse. “New Season “ is absolutely, positively electrifying.

You can listen to “New Season” on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here . You can also check out the amazing video below

You can feel the explosive power of “New Season “ right from the start. From the top, “New Season” is an unhinged riot of punk defiance with cutting riffs and aggressive drums that perfectly punctuate guitarist Ryan Perras‘ high-energy vocals. The single is brimming with the band’s rock-‘n’-roll passion, distorted sound, and raw spark. “We live in fright each night / Chainsaw our teeth but won’t say we’re uptight / a new season is here they say / but sometimes its better to upend,” Perras shouts from verse to chorus. The sextet – made up of vocalist/guitarist Peter Niven, vocalist/guitarist Ryan Perras, drummer Tim Harman, saxophonist Brendan Frye, organist Fred Brott, and bassist Randy Moore – melds groovy, organ-tinged melodies, fuzzed out guitars, and rock-solid rhythm, resonant with sounds like The Hives, The Sonics, The Cramps, and Rocket From The Crypt.

In the video, The Atom Age frolics around a sunny garden with exaggerated glee. Shots of sardonic joy while the band quite literally takes time to smell the roses are juxtaposed with the band rocking out in a tightly-packed performance of the song.

‘New Season’ bemoans the frustrating tendency to put our faith into the newest, greatest whatever thing that appears,” said Perras. “It’s been exhausting to deal with the promises of technology and ‘new’ ways of thought that never quite seem to be as beneficial as they promise. Satisfying change always feels just out of reach and we can never seem to wrap our heads around a truly new way to begin.”

We are in complete awe of the power and energy of The Atom Age . We can’t wait for more . ‘

The Atom Age will release their self-titled album on September 29, which is available to pre-order now via Asian Man Records. The band will be performing at their album release show at The Kilowatt in San Francisco on September 8. The show will be a 21+ event free to the public with support from The LoserLees and The Circulators.

Los Angeles Punk Band Death Lens Sign To Epitaph Records & Share Epic Anthemic Label Debut “Vacant”

Photo : Derek Pearlman

Hailing from East Los Angeles, alt-punk staples Death Lens proudly announce their signing to Epitaph Records. Comprised of Bryan Torres, Matt Silva, Jhon Reyes, and Eduardo Contreras, the foursome has three albums under their belts, a split EP with The Frights, and opened for acts such as Enjoy, Together Pangea, Cherry Glazerr, Militarie Gun and many more. Reflecting on the occasion, the band enthuses,

Coming from absolutely nothing to getting signed by a label we grew up idolizing and always dreaming we’d be on is an incredible honor. We are still in awe that we get to share our name with such a legendary roster. To be a part of this legacy is so insane… we still can’t wrap our heads around it! Hard work pays off and we thank Epitaph for this once in a lifetime chance.”

You can listen to “Vacant” from Death Lens Here and you can watch the video below

I hold Vacant dear to my heart because it tells my everyday story of existing with social anxiety and relying on alcohol to break that since I was young,” Torres discloses. “Growing up with ADHD, I turned to alcohol as a way to slow my mind and feel normal around people, but it became a vice. Now that I’m older I’m trying to break that habit and try sobriety, but with sobriety comes a vacant feeling at times. My new obsession is writing and journaling how I feel to fill those voids, and that’s where the lyrics of Vacant came together.”

On their 2022 album ‘No Luck, Death Lens were inspired by the turmoil and culmination of racial injustice of 2020. They set out to make an honest album that encapsulates the anxieties and hardships of life, while ultimately conveying a positive message that there is light at the end of the tunnel. As living proof of this themselves, the band grew up as minorities in a place with constant harassment by police and heavy gang violence. Their paths could have gone other ways, but they’ve chosen positivity and strive to be a light for their communities, their fans and each other.

We are 100% all in on Death Lens and their killer new single and video “Vacant” Death Lens has a familiar sound ( We hear shades of Rancid with a little bit of grunge . However one is crystal clear about Death Lens they bring a unique and blazing sound that is all their own, and …. We freaking love it.

Since the release of No Luck, Death Lens have been continuously reaching new heights. They performed at Treefort Fest, toured around the country with Militarie Gun and Together Pangea, and are one of the most played bands on SiriusXM Faction Punk. Their songs have been added to huge playlists on Spotify and Apple Music, with confirmed syncs in MTV’s Ridiculousness and EA’s NHL Video Game. After selling out two headline shows at The Echo in their hometown, 2023 is shaping up to be their biggest year yet. And we can’t wait !!!

Harker is an explosive sonically pleasing band that absolutely kills it on their latest single “Medicine”. We love the power and passion that Harker possesses as a band, they play with enough energy to power a small town .

The band says the track is inspired by, the current state of the UKs post lockdown climate, ‘Medicine’ is a furious protest anthem pushing back against politicians cashing out on the misery of working class people and capturing the anger of a country currently rifting through a class struggle.”

So not only are they skilled musicians but, they are not afraid to stand up for what they believe in and say what’s on their minds .

Like a lot of bands the pandemic proved to be a bit challenging when it came to trying to make new music . The band comments “Between re-arranging recordings, re-writing songs, rehearsing and reassessing our life choices it took until 2022 to finally get the songs finished and the record mastered

We can honestly say after playing the new EP about 4 thousands times ( apologies to our other office mates ) it was definitely worth the wait. “There Or Thereabouts is a melodic punk lover’s dream.

Right from the opening track “Peaches And Creams, the band is in top form. It was something a bloke I used to drink with would say, he’d have a really positive story always ending somehow on a downer.”, says singer Dan Goatham (also known for being in SNUFF). And he once said “well, it ain’t all peaches and cream.” So I stole it.”

Comprised of Snuff bassist Dan on lead vocals and guitar, guitarist and vocalist Ben, bassist Stu, and drummer Leon are highly skilled musicians who are well oiled punk rock machine

The energy from Spoilers is absolutely incredible as they blazed through standouts “None Taken “ and the latest single “Skip To The End”

So Cal Latino Garage Surf Punks 3LH Delivers Epic New Single “Blue Collar Blues”

We recently had the opportunity to check out “Blue Collar Blues “ via My Grito from So Cal Latino Garage Surf Punks 3LH

You can listen to “Blue Collar Blues “ Here

It’s bands like 3LH that fuel our love affair for music . The intoxicating sound of 60’s surf mixed with punk and garage band vibes topped with an amazing guitar sound make 3LH a band you can’t afford to miss .

“Blue Collar Blues “ caught our attention immediately with a sound and style like nothing we’ve ever heard .

Frontman Rafa Heredia says, This is a song about self reflection after having maybe a pint too many at your favorite divey hole in the wall, it’s a callback to tracks like “Alabama song (Whisky Bar)” by The Doors – the song lends itself to telling a fun twisted story while not taking itself too seriously.”

Comprised of Rafa Heredia (Guitar/ Vocals), Johnny Villanueva (Keys/Guitar) Kevin Carranza (Drums) Favian Vega (Bass), 3LH deliver the tones of the likes of guitar virtuosos like Link Wray, The Kinks, mixed with the garage / punk sensibilities of modern acts like The Growlers, The Frights and Tijuana Panthers.

We can’t wait for more music from 3LH but, in the meantime we will just put “Blue Collar Blues “ on repeat and enjoy.
