Opening the EP is Mercy Music’s “Big Fucking Mess”—an emotionally raw, melodically sharp anthem that hits with everything the band’s known for: heart, hooks, and high-voltage energy. Brendan Scholz, alongside bassist Jarred Cooper and drummer Ryan Seaman, crafts a track that’s as cathartic as it is catchy. Coming off their Bill Stevenson–produced LP What You Stand To Lose, the Vegas trio shows no signs of slowing down.
We absolutely love the energy and vibe from Mercy Music, “Big Fucking Mess” is absolutely electric.

On the flip side, Danger Days deliver “Wasted Time”—a lean, hook-driven punk track with an unmistakable sense of urgency. Featuring members of Millencolin, The Rabble, Movin In Stereo, and Flirting With Disaster, this international group spans Sweden, the UK, and New Zealand. Their chemistry and raw execution are instant and undeniable.
We found ourselves instantly singing along to “Wasted Time” from Danger Days.
Mercy Music and Danger Days offer a split single that represents all that is good in punk rock.
