Brooklyn bruisers Cash Bribe are back with their third EP, “Demonomics,”dropping June 13, 2025, via Futureless. This marks their first release on the label, and they’ve never sounded louder, sharper, or more furious.

the charge is the blistering first single, “Death Tax,” now streaming everywhere. The companion video for “Death Tax “ is above and it kicks some serious ass.
Vocalist Joey Dahlstrom says, “We did all of the Death Tax video — except for the time lapse — in one day last December with our pal Charlie Jordan, who shot it and put it together for us. We wanted to reflect our surroundings in Brooklyn and the themes of grime, erosion, and decay.”
Of the single, Dahlstrom: says, “Death Tax comes from thinking about entropy and decay. Nature can be cruel, violent, and indifferent — the suffering seems pointless — but accepting and understanding the terms of our existence comes with a certain viriditas, an empowering vitality to approach it head-on.”
GuitaristKirk McGirk adds, “This one made it into our live sets pretty quickly – people would respond to it pretty well, and we like when we do something that makes people move.”
Cash Bribe, have an absolutely breathtaking, one of kind sound that is both sonically and melodically perfect. We were stopped dead in our tracks when we heard “Death Tax” If you’re not aware of Cash Bribe, now is definitely the time to start.

Formerly known as Little Thief, Oswald Slain’s sound is a rich tapestry woven from the threads of classic Americana, echoing the timeless vibes of Neil Young and The Band, whilst infusing it with the gritty, energetic rock essence familiar from their previous works.
Under their previous moniker, the band toured the UK multiple times, playing slots at esteemed festivals such as Glastonbury, Shambala, Liverpool Sound City, Isle of Wight, Kendal Calling and Greenman Festival, receiving support from the likes of Far Out Magazine, RTE, BBC Radio 6’s Steve Lamacq and BBC Radio 1.
There is an honesty and conviction that runs through the core of Oswald Slain, and it is front and center on “Happiness Is Overrated”
Co-founding members Charlie Fitzgerald and Rhii Williams, who have been writing music together for over 10 years, took the difficult decision to change the band name and move forward in a new direction.
Oswald Slain is a testament to both personal growth and musical evolution. Teaming up with producer and fellow band member Ryan Rogers, their upcoming debut single was produced in-house in their DIY studio. Mastered by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering (PJ Harvey, XTC, Big Special), ‘Happiness Is Overrated‘ is a song that pushes back against the pressures of being happy.
Reflecting on the single, vocalist and lyricistCharlie Fitzgerald says: “Happiness is Overrated is a rise about misery and a rebellion against the pressures of being ‘happy’. The song came out of a pretty low point in my life: Final lockdown, locked up at home. Everything had kinda fallen apart in my musical world and we were just drinking corner shop wine and trying to keep morale up. I had been listening to Bob Dylan’s ‘115th Dream’ on repeat and loved the story-telling aspect of the lyricism, so enjoying writing something with lots of words and more of a storyline.
The lyrics sat on my computer for a few years and never really got used until one rainy day in January 2024, they found a final resting place in this big, sad, bar-crawl of a tune.”

The opening track “Heaven’s Gate” is a grade A rock masterpiece. The pristine soaring vocals hit your soul like the Fourth of July and never leaves.
“Snake Oil Salvation is a reflection of the world we’re living in,” says Indingaro. “The idea of snake oil – the slick talkers, the cons, the false promises – felt like the perfect metaphor for everything we’re trying to say. And salvation? Well, that’s what everyone’s chasing, right? But maybe it’s all smoke and mirrors. We’re mixing the grit with the hope, the lies with the redemption. It’s got a bit of that old-school hustler vibe, with a modern kick in the teeth.”
Diablogato are like a group of well trained rock soldiers as they effortlessly deliver solid soon to be classics. We loved the cadence and tempo of Wandering Hearts” …. And did we mention the bass line and the incredible guitar work? Holy Smokes!
The track that really stood out to us is “July 1969” in a treasure trove of remarkable songs, “July 1969 “ is without a doubt the crown jewel. You really get to hear and feel the incredible energy of Diablogato, and it’s absolutely stunning.

We were instantly mesmerized by the devilishly wicked and hypnotic sounds of “Witches” Falsely Accused has crafted a beyond memorable groove on “Witches” , that will stay with you long after the music has faded.
Normally, releasing a single called “Witches” in October would allude to some spooky, Halloween-related themes. But for bassist and vocalistMatt Tavano, the origin story of these “Witches” is rooted in something far more scary – where a sense of dread from an impending physical confrontation is augmented by the fact that most of the general public is becoming increasingly unhinged.
‘Witches’ is about a road rage incident I was involved in a couple years ago that quickly escalated into a roadside robbery,”Tavano admits. “As the scenario was playing out it seemed like violence was going to be unavoidable. But with a little luck, everyone went home in one piece, even the bad guys. It was, as they say, a wicked nail biter.”
Tavano won’t get too deep into the specifics beyond that. But one part of the tense ordeal stuck with him so much, he took it to the band – rounded out by Mike Azzolino on drums, percussion, and backup vocals; and Mark Young on guitar and backup vocals – and soon the seeds for what would become “Witches” were planted.
Where the explosive “A Drink Before the War” leaned into the Falsely Accused’s newfound heaviness, raising the volume on a post-grunge sound while steering away from the bluesy swamp rock muck heard on their 2021 debut album Compression, “Witches” finds a middle ground between the two eras. Both are linked by the power-riff for the emerging rock trio, which formed just before the pandemic as Young completed the lineup after Tavano and Azzolino were looking for a fresh start after a previous project faded out
Written and performed by Falsely Accused, “Witches” was recorded and engineered by Steve Aliperta at Kennedy Studios in Burlington, Massachusetts, and mastered by Dominik Honold at Protonaut Studios in Erkelenz, Germany.

We are absolutely captivated beyond words with the latest single “Nothing Ever Grows “ from Krooked Tongue . We have been fans of the boys ( Oli Rainsford, vocals, Dan Smith, guitar,vocals and Harry Pritchard, drums ) from Bristol, since the first note we heard and with every new song we fall deeper in awe of the mighty Krooked Tongue.
“Nothing Ever Grows” was recorded and produced with long-time producer Josh Gallop at Stage 2 Studios in Bath, a brooding number which serves to highlight the importance of a positive mental attitude.
We love the sonic groove/stomp on “Nothing Ever Grows” once you hear it you can’t shake it ( that’s a good thing )
Describing the single, vocalist and lyricist Oli Rainsford states: “‘Nothing Ever Grows’ is a right moody geezer of a song. It was one of those tunes that transpired really quickly and it just captured the essence of the mood perfectly. I think it stems from frustration with yourself when you can’t finish that idea, or that lyric. It’s an ode to the tortured artist. It’s a splash of cold water, a slap across the face followed by a shot of whiskey. A defibrillating wake up call to say ‘Oi, if you don’t get yourself in a better headspace, nothing good or prosperous can come out of it’. Hence ‘Nothing Ever Grows’. And I think that relates to every aspect of life, not just to creativity”
August 2024 saw their biggest support tour to date, supporting Kid Brunswick on his final ‘Dead Forever’ tour across the UK. They’ve also recently shared the stage with FalseHeads, Virgin Marys, Phoxjaw, Moriaty, Pulled Apart By Horses, The Soap Girls and Mother Vulture and have played slots at festivals such as Icebreaker, Dot to Dot, The Godney Gathering, Estonia’s Tallinn Music Week and Burn It Down.
We have saying it for a while butit bears repeating…. Krooked Tongue is on the verge of something really big and “Nothing Ever Grows” only reinforces our thoughts about this . So climb on board and strap in because it’s going to be positively amazing.
What stands out about Shiver., is that they are truly in every sense of the word a versatile band . They are able to artfully take their already well crafted sound and brilliantly add new twists and turns to keep it fresh .
“Depths Of Salem” has this slow building stomp/groove that has Shiver. absolutely firing on all cylinders as they prove definitively that they can freaking rock and we love every bit of it .
Shiver. has our full attention with “Depths Of Salem” and we can not wait to see what they do next .
