Lily Crow Is A Voice You Need Know…. “Pieces Of Me” Is Absolutely Stunning

We recently had the extreme honor and privilege to check out the new single, “Pieces Of Me” from Chicago based indie singer-songwriter, Lily Crow. You can listen to “Pieces Of Me” Here

In a somewhat mundane musical landscape, Lily Crow, is an energetic burst of fresh air that you can’t help be excited about .

“Pieces Of Me” is a fierce, powerful and emotionally charged song that will immediately stay in your soul long after the music has ended.

Lily has brilliantly crafted a song in “Pieces Of Me” that explores the sharp, vengeful, and edgy emotions that come from a breakup and being replaced by someone who’s just a copy. It illustrates obsession, identity, and the lingering hold we can have on someone who tried to move on too fast. Confident and cutting, Crow turns post breakup pain into a power move.

Lily Crow, artfully blends elements of bedroom-pop and 90’s indie rock, making her sound both familiar and uniquely her own all at the same time. ( and we freaking love this )

Relatable lyrics with memorable melodies topped off with vocals that could literally stop rush hour traffic, Lily Crow , is an artist you need to know about and “Pieces Of Me” is a song you need to hear.

Lily , is currently working on her sophomore EP, anticipating on releasing at the end of summer 2025.

Mest Deliver Sonically Perfect New Single “Hate You Sober “ ( featuring: Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills)

We recently had the amazing opportunity to check out the latest single “Hate You Sober” from Chicago Pop-punk band featuring Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills .

You can listen to “Hate You Sober” Here

MEST will release the new album ‘Youth’ via SBÄM Records on June 21.

Following last month’s release of the lead single “WHEN WE WERE YOUNG” (feat. Jaret Reddick from Bowling For Soup), MEST has just debuted the second single, “HATE YOU SOBER” (ft. Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills. The track delves into the theme of a toxic relationship, depicting how one might endure it by numbing themselves with alcohol, while also exploring the journey towards summoning the courage to break free from the toxicity.

Speaking on the recording of the new album, founding member and front man Tony Lovato says, The drives to the studio were about an hour and 20 minutes long. A lot of my inspiration for this record was found on those drives. I would just listen to all the records that I grew up listening to. Which brought back a ton of memories. It would just put me in another state of mind. The majority of “Youth” was written up in the hills of Los Angeles where I recorded a bunch of our early records. I would get random flashbacks seeing spots I hadn’t seen in years. But as much as I love all the memories and stories of the past, I’m not one to think that the best days are over. I’m creating new core memories and living my life now, so that in 20 years I’ll look back fondly. The same as I do now. These songs are a cheers to the past with a here’s to the future.”

We are loving “Hate You Sober” from Mest featuring Spencer Charnas from Ice Nine Kills and we are counting the days till we can listen to “Youth” on June 21st.

We recently had the opportunity to check out the new video for “Hard to Love” Remix featuring Qari From Chicago based rapper Jaymz V . You can check the video which, was shot by High Life Films

You can listen to “Hard To Love” (Remix ) on Spotify below

We absolutely love the groove and vibe from Jaymz V

“Hard to Love”(Remix) is Jaymz V bringing his absolute “A” Game . Adding Qari to the remix brings it to a whole new level.

“Hard to Love” captures the angst of being an up-and-coming artist and trapped in the walls of a 9-5. On top of this stress, turmoil ensues with his significant other.

Exposed to music at a young age, Jaymz was susceptible to a variety of genres and artists such as Metallica, Lil Wayne, Twista and many more who started to shape the way he viewed and created music. Using influences from mainstream hip-hop, rap, R&B, underground Chicago hip hop and incorporating tones and beats from a wide array of genres, Jaymz has created a unique sound that represents him. In 2020, upon hitting a debilitating case of writers’ block, Jaymz flew to Brooklyn, NY to meet and write with producer/songwriter Natalie Shamoun, who helped shape his new era of creation and set him on a new musical path.

I wrote this song one night while walking home. I had a fight with my significant other and I needed some time away,” said Jaymz in an interview with Sheen Magazine. “I feel like it was an embodiment of my stress, venting and being honest with myself. The world is cold. Music is my way to pass time and work through things. We as artists spend countless dollars and hours on ideas and journeys, and some go nowhere. But eventually everything will pay off in the end.”

The ability and talent of Jaymz V is truly otherworldly . There are those who can rhythm and have great skill . Then there are artists who have a vision and purpose with their music. Jaymz V is an artist.

We are all in on Jaymz V , he absolutely shines in the new video for “Hard To Love” (Remix) featuring Qari
