So we got a double dose of good news from The Backfires , debut album “This Is Not An Exit” will be released on January 24th 2025 . New single “Replace It All “  is the third single that the band has released that will be featured on This Is Not An Exit.  The two other previously released singles are “Brighter Lights” and “Dressed For a Funeral.”

You can listen to “Replace It All” Here’s and you can watch the video below

The  band says, “’Replace It All’” is about surrendering yourself to someone else and letting them save you from your past. It’s how it feels to be lost at the end of the world, caught in between love and fear, needing to be rescued

The band continues about the music video saying “Sometimes the road to get to where you want is long and winding, and even when you’re close enough to see it, you’ve still got a ways to go. The video for ‘Replace It All’ nods to the journey of our band. Now we’re in New York, and we’re putting out our first record. It’s been a long while, but we’re just getting started.”

In support of their new music they have announced their 2025 Winter Headline Tour. The tour kicks off January 26 2025. See all tour dates below.

The Backfires (Alex Gomez (vocals) Harry Ruprecht (guitar) , Max Wanduragala (drums) and Matt Walter (bass) formed in 2018, when Alex Gomez left New York to study in London and met Harry Ruprecht and Max Wanduragala The three of them then returned to the states in 2022 and recruited Matt Walter
