Every time we hear a new song from Cash Bribe, our love for their phenomenal sound grows, and “Demonomics” is no exception.

Cash Bribe, is definitely a band that stands out . They artfully take hardcore and punk vibes and make it all their own .

The musicianship is front and center in everything they do and it is top notch.

The EP’s title track, “Demonomics,” is now streaming everywhere—an absolute sonic assault that sets the tone for what’s to come. ( We can’t freaking wait )

Brooklyn bruisers Cash Bribe are back with their third EP, “Demonomics,”dropping June 13, 2025, via Futureless. This marks their first release on the label, and they’ve never sounded louder, sharper, or more furious.

 the charge is the blistering first single, “Death Tax,” now streaming everywhere. The companion video for “Death Tax “ is above and it kicks some serious ass.

Vocalist Joey Dahlstrom says, “We did all of the Death Tax video — except for the time lapse — in one day last December with our pal Charlie Jordan, who shot it and put it together for us. We wanted to reflect our surroundings in Brooklyn and the themes of grime, erosion, and decay.”

Of the single, Dahlstrom: says, “Death Tax comes from thinking about entropy and decay. Nature can be cruel, violent, and indifferent — the suffering seems pointless — but accepting and understanding the terms of our existence comes with a certain viriditas, an empowering vitality to approach it head-on.”

Guitarist Kirk McGirk adds, “This one made it into our live sets pretty quickly – people would respond to it pretty well, and we like when we do something that makes people move.”

Cash Bribe, have an absolutely breathtaking, one of kind sound that is both sonically and melodically perfect. We were stopped dead in our tracks when we heard “Death Tax” If you’re not aware of Cash Bribe, now is definitely the time to start.

Hearing a great freaking song, is like when you hear a ball hit with a bat a certain way … you just know it’s a hit…. “Death Tax” is a hit

We were completely blown away by the power and electrifying energy of Ghost Chant. Their new single, “ No Recovery “ is soon to be your new favorite song… You just don’t know it yet.

An epic and authentic song , “No Recovery” gave us absolute chills – Bravo

When discussing the meaning behind the single, vocalist Dan Sheehan shared, “No Recovery is a representation of understanding where something is heading, yet not having the ability to let it go and accepting what is. It’s the telling of wanting to be more than what we are to someone, with the painful realization that we just aren’t what they ‘need’, wrapped in the telling of what they ‘want’. It’s holding onto hope, knowing that no matter how much it hurts, you’re not chosen and there’s just no coming back from that.”

We are so excited for Chum Huffer , and their highly anticipated third studio EP, Slaughterhouse Five, on their own DWY Records, in May 2025. Inspired by Kurt Vonnegut’s classic novel, the EP’s title track draws eerie parallels between the chaos of the book’s wartime setting and the unrest in today’s world.

“With everything happening around us, it feels like we’re unstuck in time—just like Vonnegut’s character Billy Pilgrim,” says the band. “This record explores the battle between past and future, reality and illusion, and what it means to hold onto your own sense of morality.”

Today ( February 14th) we get our first taste of the new EP, with the first single , “Slaughterhouse,” (spoiler alert: this song is freaking amazing) Pre-orders , for the EP, are launching on February, 15th at ChumHuffer.com .

The new single, “Slaughterhouse”, from ChumHuffer is an explosive, sonically perfect tune that doesn’t step off the gas for one second. Chum Huffer , brings their raw energy and razor-sharp social commentary that they are known for and it is a thing of beauty.

Fates Messenger Announce Their Thunderous Arrival With Two Debut Singles “Scars//“Bonechapel”

We recently checked out UK-based Thrash / Metalcore four-piece Fates Messenger and their two new thunderous debut singles, “Scars” and “Bonechapel” today (March 1st 2024 ) taken from their upcoming debut EP due later in the year.

Formed by members of legendary hardcore / thrash outfits Above All, Romeo Must Die and Dishonour The Crown, Fates Messenger have drawn from all of their collective experiences within the UK metal / hardcore scenes and have produced a fresh slab of metal savagery.

With previous individual experiences of touring Europe, being a prominent force in the European metal festival circuit and supporting some of the biggest names in the metal world; Korn, Fear Factory, Entombed and Pitchshifter to name a few, Fates Messenger know what it takes to go toe to toe with some of the biggest names in heavy music and are using this experience to give the hardcore metal world a new name to be reckoned with.

Scars, was recorded, mixed and mastered by the band themselves, is the first single taken from their upcoming debut EP due later this year. Combining addictively heavy riffs, thunderous basslines and growling vocals Scars sees Fate Messenger deliver an unapologetic hailstorm of noise from start to finish.

Discussing the lyrical themes behind the track, vocalist and lyricist Tony Maddocks explains: “The lyrical theme to this song came to me while I was reading a heartbreaking story in the media about a teenager who had taken their life due to the ongoing bullying and abuse they had suffered online and physically within their social circles. A cruel and sad reflection on just how inhumane and vicious humans can be in this harsh new world which we have created, where there’s no escape from this kind of mental and physical abuse and how the smallest comment can have a long lasting effect on a person’s life whether it be face to face or online.”

We are not exactly sure what we did? But, not only did we get “Scars” which is an absolute masterpiece on its own but….. We got a second single with the mesmerizing track “Bonechapel” The intensity and precision that Fates Messenger play with is the stuff of legends and it is on full display with “Bonechapel”

‘92 Gives 100% With Sonically And Melodically Perfect Self Debut EP On Rude Records

Brimming with political commentary, the inaugural self-titled EP boldly conveys an unapologetic message that announces itself with force.

The band says, “We can’t even express how excited we are for this EP to finally be shown to the world. We’ve been working on these songs for years – since pre-pandemic – and at the time, it felt like they would never see the light of day. However, after seeing the way the world has drastically changed since 2020, it’s no wonder why the songs needed to wait to come out. All the fuel was there, but the last few years provided the spark needed to set this ablaze. Welcome to ‘92.”

From the first track “Culture” you can not help but be impressed by the absolute power that ‘92 bring with their sound .

Comprising of Jabril Ward, Nick Sturz, Brandon De Vincenzo, Cole Patterson, and Quintin Barnum, the band draws inspiration from artists like Rage Against The Machine, Dr. Dre, Trapped Under Ice, Leeway, The Warriors and more, resulting in a heavier version of Red Hot Chili Peppers. Their debut EP, “‘92,” explores themes of rebellion rooted in the symbolic 1992 riots. ’92’s inception, driven by a mission to be spokespeople for the unheard, shapes their unique musical journey.

All five tracks are absolutely dead perfect however , there is one track that we keep coming back to….. “Brick By Brick” is absolute work of art . We love everything about the track . ‘92 is firing on all cylinders on “Brick By Brick” and we freaking love it .
