We recently had the fantastic opportunity to check out the new record , “Dreaming In Stereo, via Wicked Cool Records, from Harrisburg, PA’s The Jellybricks.
You can listen to “Dreaming In Stereo“ Here
The Jellybricks ( Larry Kennedy — guitar, Garrick Chow — bass guitar, vocals, Bryce Connor — guitar, vocals, Tom Kristich — drums, vocals) bring instant melodic perfection throughout their new album , “Dreaming In Stereo, starting with electrifying opener “Age Of Stupid “ and it’s a thing of power pop beauty .

Guitarist/vocalist Larry Kennedy says, “We are incredibly excited to be releasing our new full-length album, “Dreaming In Stereo” on Wicked Cool Records! It’s our second full-length release for the label, and it will be the eighth full-length release of our career. Once again we offer a collection of songs written, arranged and performed by us, this time with Geoff Sanoff (Jesse Malin, Bush Tetras) producing all of our work at Renegade Studios in NYC, with additional recording by Michael Washkevich at MDW Productions in Harrisburg, PA. We had a great time collaborating with Geoff on these recordings. We’re always looking for new ways to present our songs to a dedicated listening audience who have supported us for nearly three decades. The new songs feature lead vocals by myself, guitarist Bryce Connor, and our drummer, Tommy Kristich, and this album also features several fantastic guest guitar appearances by Doug Gillard (Guided By Voices, Nada Surf). We relish the opportunity to share these twelve new songs, some of the best work we have yet created together as a band. We hope that these songs will entertain and please our long-time fans, as well as find their way into the hearts, minds and souls of many new ones!”
If melodic power-pop music is your thing then, you have hit the absolute jackpot with “Dreaming In Stereo” Every song on the album 1- 12 has hit single potential ( yep the record is that good .
The title track, “Dreaming In Stereo”, has this cinematic hit soundtrack kind of feel that we absolutely love , we were singing along at the top of lungs by the time the second chorus kicked in .
On the addictive “Monday’s Never” , The Jellybricks, seem to find another gear with an amazing vocal performance woven beautifully between next level melodies .
We loved the 60’s feel bass line on “Follow That Girl” it’s a tremendous groove that we absolutely loved .
On an amazing record, like “Dreaming In Stereo“ , it is impossible to pick a favorite track, but the one that one that really stood out to us was “Crazy Weather”, we loved everything about this song ( the harmonies are so freaking dreamy)
“Dreaming In Stereo” is an absolute gem that can’t be missed , The Jellybricks, have really hit it out of the park!!!
