Full Disclosure: Up until Friday September 6th 2024 we had never heard of KNIVES. So we hit play on the old video machine and well… We were completely blown away . “Oh This Sin Of Mine” from KNIVES is a complete punk rock masterpiece. Perfect melody and the two styles of vocals is just breathtakingly freaking awesome.

“Oh This Sin of Mine”, is the third single from their upcoming debut album “One Cut Away From Love” out on November 15 via Punkerton Records. The song begins solemnly and builds methodically fully igniting as we reach the bitter end. The clinical dark lyricism of singer-songwriter Danny Attack grips tighter and tighter around your neck culminating with heart wrenching wails and blood curdling screams.

Formed in 2022 by songwriter Danny Attack (Vocals/Guitar) and Brendan Morrison (Screams/Guitar), KNIVES was originally meant to be a one-show project. But the self-proclaimed “boys of summer” quickly realized they were onto something more. Soon after, they added Josh Kidd (Drums) and Adam Johnson (Bass) to complete the lineup. With soul-baring lyrics, blood-curdling screams, infectious grooves, and catchy melodies, the sky is the limit for this up-and-coming pop-punk juggernaut.

Signed to Punkerton Records in 2023, KNIVES is ready to take the scene by storm. Their debut LP, “One Cut Away From Love,” is set to drop on November 15, 2024. If you’re looking for lyrics that rip your still-beating heart out of your chest, face- melting guitar riffs, bass lines that blur your perception of space and time, and ground- shaking beats, look no further.
