“Blood Orange Wine”, is the last of the trilogy and is an upbeat indie pop bop. She confides,”The song is about the adrenaline wearing off after being emotionally yanked around by a person I loved. For months I was turning to vices to bury the pain and I soundtracked this period of my life with a lot of Fleetwood Mac and Electric Light Orchestra. I’m not surprised they ended up having a huge influence on how the record ended up sounding. It turns out that time is the only thing that truly heals, and honestly thank God for that.”

We absolutely love the accompanying visuals which are cinematically thrilling with Stela teaming up with award winning directors Eliot Lee and Maya Sassoon and co-star Noah Gonzalez to create a dramatic and enthralling story.

We were instantly captivated by the incredibly beautiful “Sunlight” from the amazingly talented Maisy Kay

The raw ballad, “Sunlight” is only a glimpse of what’s ahead for Maisy Kay with plans to release more this spring. She recently released the remix to her single “Karma Is a Bitch Like You” with the legendary Tiësto.

Fans can expect to see much more of her among the pop communities as she continues to collaborate with some of the biggest titans in the industry. Pigeon Club Delivers Pure Melodic Brilliance With Latest single “Liar”

We recently had the amazing opportunity to check out the latest single “Liar” from Los Angeles based indie rock artist Pigeon Club.

“Liar” is a lush and wistful track all about the aftermath of a defense mechanism malfunction, with both humor and heart. The song is shared alongside a comedic music video.

Pigeon Club is the music of Wayne Whittaker, a multi-instrumentalist musician/ songwriter living in Los Angeles. Outside of his own project, Whittaker has worked with artists such as Dawes, Diane Coffee, Haerts, and countless others.

Pigeon Club’s upcoming second album, “Another Year In The Minors”, is another collaboration with Grammy winning co-producers John Would and Amy Wood (Fiona Apple, Warren Zevon). Together, along with a stellar group of friends/ backing musicians, they unwittingly managed to document a major transitional period in the life of the songwriter.

We were immediately captivated by “Liar” from Pigeon Club, sonically and melodically pleasing, we were hooked instantly. The stunning melodies and perfect harmonies that you simply can’t ignore.

“This was a really hard song to write,” Whittaker recalls, “structurally, it came together very quickly. But once I read it back, it became clear that this was going to be a particularly exposing three minutes. Thankfully, the touched upon themes are unmistakably human, so at the very least I’ve confirmed that I am indeed only human.”

Do yourself a favor and get lost in the melodic beauty of “Liar”, you will be glad you did.

All Day Sucker is the brainchild of lifelong friends and musical collaborators since high school producer and keyboardist Jordan Summers (Cat Power, FF5, and The F.O.C.K.R.s.) and singer Morty Coyle (DJMortyCoyle, FF5, and The F.O.C.K.R.s.) The rest of the line-up includes bassist and arranger Dan Rothchild (Tonic, Heart, Shakira) drummer David “Goody” Goodstein (She Wants Revenge, Dolly Parton, Larkin Poe) guitarist Geoff Pearlman (Jakob Dylan, Dead Rock West, Joan Osborne). Also, guitarists Jay Gore and Fernando Perdomo and vocalist Jordan Zevon lend their talents on select songs. The bandmates are all veterans of the Wild Honey Orchestra, which mounts star-studded annual L.A. concerts benefiting autism research. Select bandmates were also part of the documentary film Echo in the Canyon featured in the film, and TV appearances, live performances, and on its accompanying soundtrack.

The album was recorded by four-time Grammy-winning producer, mixer, and audio engineer Dave Way (Foo Fighters, Beck, Pink!) live on the floor at the Way Station in Los Angeles.

Every song on “Feel Better” has this cinematic, show stopping feeling that literally takes your breath away.

We found ourselves dancing across the office and singing along as if we were center stage at The Hollywood Bowl.

Standouts on “Feel Better” include “Sidewalk Hearts” (you can check out the visual below) “Last Night At Gladstones” and “I Think Of You” The truth is … there is not a bad track to be found on “Feel Better”

Band Debuts Animated Lyric Video For The Track, Directed and Edited by Lead Vocalist Nicolette Vilar

LA-based, all-female Latina punk trailblazers Go Betty Go return with “We Talk A Lot,” the second track off their upcoming return EP ‘Black and Blue.’

Vilar says, “‘We Talk A Lot’ is a song that dives into that feeling we all feel and have felt, when you’re falling in love with a friend, partner, life, etc… and you just want to take off on an adventure together and have it never end. It’s a wonderful place to be and hopefully, everyone has a chance to experience that at least once in their life. And if it hasn’t happened to you yet, it’s a glimpse into what it could be like and a way to look forward to the day it does happen. The song comes from a sincere place. I had so much fun illustrating and animating the lyric video for this song. I tapped into graphic skills that I hadn’t done in years, so it was truly a fun project from start to finish.”

Formed in 2000, in the suburbs of Glendale, California, they entered the LA scene when they were all teens. Go Betty Go is driven by Betty Cisneros’ big, roaring guitar, singer Nicolette Vilar’s soulful, siren call and the momentous urgency of Michelle Rangel’s bass and Aixa Vilar’s tumultuous drumming.

In 2022, Go Betty Go was hit yet again with their most difficult challenge to date. As the band prepared to enter the studio and record their next album, Betty was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. The news was hard, but it brought them closer than ever.

They worked around Betty’s grueling doctor visits, chemotherapy, and surgeries, and when she was having her better days, they managed to squeeze out their latest studio recording “Black and Blue”.

Go Betty Go are one of those special bands that you can’t help fall in love with . “We Talk A lot” is a fun and addictive musical gem that reminds us why we love music so much .
