New single “2AM” offers a fresh twist on their evolving sound, entirely in Spanish and steeped in late-night longing. With a smooth, soulful melody, jazzy undertones, and a laid-back groove, “2AM” captures the kind of intimacy that only surfaces in the early hours. “The later it is, the easier it is to feel close to someone,” the band explains. “It’s beautiful because it’s fleeting, not despite it.” Rich with poetic imagery and romantic nostalgia, the song reflects on the quiet magic between two people who know their time together is borrowed. It’s a hauntingly beautiful track about love, trust, and the spaces we fill in each other’s lives, if only for a moment.

2AM” is the latest offering from their upcoming album Vice City Magic, set to release on July 18th. The album promises a new chapter for Mustard Service, one that deepens their genre-blurring approach while embracing intimacy and storytelling with more nuance than ever before.
