We recently had the beyond amazing opportunity, to check out the new split EP , “Bridges And Tunnels from Long Island’s- Gone Stereo and New York City’s Something Bitter . You can listen to the epic collection of songs that is “Bridges And Tunnels” on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here

We were absolutely pumped to check out “Bridges And Tunnels “ from Gone Stereo and Something Bitter , as we are fans of both bands . “Bridges And Tunnels “ features brand-new tracks, two from each group, available today (December 27 ) digitally, and later on limited-edition 7” vinyl, CD, and
cassette.

Gone Stereo- Courtesy Of The Band

We absolutely love Gone Stereo, they have such a one of a kind sound that grabs you immediately , they have released “Sad Turtles” and “Cut the Rope” as part
of the split EP. These tracks were recorded at VuDu Studios, where they were produced, mixed, and
mastered by the talented Frank Mitaritonna, known for working with such luminaries as Thought Crimes,The Dillinger Escape Plan, and Hopesfall.

If you are familiar with The Whole Kameese, you know that when we hear something that we like , we want to shout it from the from the rooftops….. The bass line on “Sad Turtles “ is absolutely mind blowing, it sets the tone for a phenomenal track. Everything on this track is pure melodic pop punk perfection the melody , the guitars everything. If you’re not singing along to “Sad Turtles” by time the chorus kicks in you need to seek medical attention. “Sad Turtles” may explore themes of being lost and yearning for belonging, ultimately it is kick ass Saturday night song about getting wasted .

The other track from Gone Stereo, “Cut The Rope”, is a driving that has Gone Stereo, firing on all cylinders.

“Cut the Rope” tells a story about a mystical woman. The song’s melody is haunting
and atmospheric, with a sense of mystery and intrigue. Overall, Gone Stereo’s new songs showcase their
ability to blend different genres and create a unique, familiar, and fresh sound, and we loved every freaking minute of it.

The next two tracks on “Bridges And Tunnels”, are from Something Bitter, a melodic punk-rock band from New York City, Something Bitter deliver a high energy sound that artfully showcases their “Next Level “ musicianship. They have given us two kick ass tracks as their contribution to “Bridges And Tunnels” – “The Ends “ and “Milo Goes Fight Club” .

These tracks were independently recorded and mixed by singer/guitarist Russ Worstell, and mastered by Frank Mitaritonna.

Something Bitter, Courtesy Of The Band

The melodic tone and vocal performance coupled with an addictive melody on “The Ends “, instantly made us take notice.

“The Ends” is a song about loss and gaining something in the process. It’s about realizing that the effort
you’re putting into something isn’t working out — work, a relationship, a Rubik’s cube, or any other pursuit
— and that you were never the right person. Because while your world outlook isn’t bleak, it isn’t roses and candy floss. The final track on “Bridges And Tunnels”, is the powerful, “Milo Goes To Fight club” This song is an absolute sonic and melodic gem .

“Milo Goes to Fight Club”, is a song about that dude we’ve all encountered who lives to
make other people’s lives miserable. You know, that schoolyard bully, that jerk in the street late on a Friday night who just wants to pick a fight to feel better, that cop who loves their badge a little too much. It’s a reminder that being kind and decent is what gives you a decent life, not being that guy. Besides having a phenomenal title, what we really loved about “Milo Goes To Fight Club “ , is the brilliantly crafted lyrics. We are big fans of lyrics and “Milo Goes To Fight Club” is a lyrical masterpiece.

Gone Stereo and Something Bitter have delivered a future classic with their split EP, “Bridges And Tunnels “

Fake Dad Push All The Right Buttons With New Single “ON/OFF”

We recently had the unbelievable opportunity to check out the new single “ON/OFF” from Fake Dad,  a Los Angeles based, NYC bred indie rock meets dream pop duo.

You can listen to “ON/OFF” Here

We absolutely love the vibe on “ON/OFF , from Fake Dad. ( Andrea de Varona (she/her) and Josh Ford (he/him)

“ON/OFF” is a grunge classic full of bottled-up rage and sexual frustration. De Varona chronicles the moment-by-moment experience of being emotionally overwhelmed and overstimulated—bedrotting, serotonin burnout, doomscrolling, time bleeding together, laying on the bathroom floor trying to figure out if she’s feeling too much, or not enough.

“ON/OFF”features guitarist- Jeff Frantom (Bombshell)

Formed in 2020, the duo met at a college party in the East Village and have been inseparable ever since. Melting their own unique artistic visions to build a shared sonic shorthand,Fake Dad create like master painters, carefully molding a sonic and melodic sound that is laced with catchy pop-laden hooks, crunchy, 90s inspired guitars, grooving bass lines, and buoyant synths. The end result is absolutely otherworldly and you can feel it completely on “ON/OFF”

De Varona says about the song, “This was written when I couldn’t get out of bed or leave my apartment. Time really bleeds together. When you ignore feelings for long enough you become overwhelmed by and disconnected from them—both numb and overactivated. This song compares that numbness to its direct companion, doomscrolling serotonin burnout. The modern world wants us to be overstimulated and ‘turned off,’ this song is me pleading to be turned back on. “

Fake Dad, without question is a duo you need to know and “ON/OFF” is a song you NEED to HEAR .

Overflowing with emotional depth, the lyrics tap into those raw moments of reflection when you’re left questioning how everything unraveled.

Ella Galvin Delivers “Can’t Miss” New Single “Do Not Disturb “

We recently had the opportunity to check out the new single “Do Not Disturb “ from Rising New York-based artist Ella Galvin. You can listen to “Do Not Disturb “ Here

We absolutely love the style and sound of “Do Not Disturb” Guided by atmospheric bedroom-pop production and Ella’s serene vocals, “Do Not Disturb” is a dreamy listen. There’s a levity to the song — driven home by the playfully interpolated voice note that concludes the track — that makes it utterly captivating.

I wrote this song about a situationship I was in last year,” Ella says. “Late at night on the weekend when I didn’t go out, I would put my phone on ‘Do Not Disturb’ but allowed notifications from this person. The lighthearted and energetic vibe, with a touch of playful over-editing, mirrors the carefree attitude I had towards this relationship. The song reflects my strange indifference but intrigue towards this relationship.”

Taking influence from pop, soul, jazz and rock, Ella’s songs showcase her fondness for experimentation and innovation. She got her start performing in a variety of fusion bands in Boston and New York before branching out with her own solo project in 2022. She’s spent the last few years developing her sound and fine-tuning her live show with performances around New York City.

On her upcoming EP, Ella masterfully combines her genre-blending musical influences with diaristic storytelling that captures the charm, discomfort, and introspection of being a young, queer woman in today’s world. With growing buzz and plenty of music in the pipeline, Ella Galvin is an artist you’re going to want to keep an eye on in 2024.

“Do Not Disturb “ from Ella Galvin is a beautifully crafted song that we absolutely can’t get enough.

“January” details the journey to catharsis and relief, touching on finding acceptance of where you have come from, as well as the optimism about where you’re going and persistence to carry on.

Emphasizing the importance of living in the present, lead singer Myles Rodenhouse shares, “This song is about maturing and understanding mistakes you’ve made. Pursuing whoever you want to be now instead of what your former self wanted. It’s not about it working out, it’s about being where you want to be.

The lyrics, which were written by friend and poet Andy Axel, play with the metaphor of birds traveling south for the winter, however in this particular story, a bird flies south in January and survives through the harsh, winter weather, through sheer determination and willingness to move forward. Sonically, “January” emits a joyous and hopeful feeling, with spacious, airy harmonies that encompass the listener.

Previewing their fourth album ‘The Making Of the Making Of’ (out April 26 via Magic Door Record Label, it features GUIDED BY VOICES’ Kevin March, JOAN AS POLICE WOMAN’s Rainy Orteca, Hilken Mancini (Fuzzy, the Monsieurs) and Mike Errico with video set against the backdrop of late-night footage of Manhattan and Brooklyn

Produced, recorded and mixed by Ketchem at Magic Door Recording in Montclair, New Jersey, award-winning engineer GREG CALBI (John Lennon, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Talking Heads, Patti Smith, Tom Petty) was also involved in mastering.
The Spill Magazine calls this “a fabulous and fresh slice of positivity, wrapped up in a finely-tuned package of upbeat and harmonious pop-rock… Impeccably performed; superbly arranged and produced”.

I had the tune and general structure of the song lying around for a long time. For a long time I had the opening line ‘Do you suppose the door was already closed?” and the general vibe of the song but not much else. The song title and lyrical concept came for me while sitting at a bar in Brooklyn and overhearing a group of people talk about what they were going to do after an afterparty they were attending that night. I thought that that was a great title and general concept to anchor the song around. The song is about two people who’ve been chasing after each other for years but the stars never align until this one fated night where they are chasing after some magic that has been eluding them,” says Dave Derby

We love the melodic bliss of “After The After Party”,  Gramercy Arms have created an absolute gem of a track, that we simply can’t get enough of .

The company serves as a home base for the artist’s photography practice, alongside her creative direction and production work for musicians in New York and Los Angeles.

The B-side to her electrifying alt-rock anthem “Your Angel,” “Girl in Your Story” uncovers a more sincere and tender side to rlyblonde’s artistry. While a sonic contrast to her previous work, the dreamy rock ballad continues to expand on the themes of identity, femininity, and romance that she has long explored in both her music, photography, and videography.

Nothing consumes quite like a crush…and while it was devastating to realize my tendency to fantasize was not limited to men, it was also a very affirming moment in my queer journey to realize I could imagine my life with another woman.”

Olive Louise Delivers A Phenomenally Well Crafted Gem With Her Latest Single “Special”

We recently had the amazing opportunity to check out the new single “Special” from New York based singer/storyteller Olive Louise .

You can listen to “Special” on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here

Music is mostly an auditory experience, meaning it is mainly an experience that we hear. However, a really good song or a really good piece of music isn’t something you just hear .. The really good stuff the music and songs that we go back to again and again….. We feel those songs in our heart and in our soul.

“Special” from Olive Louise is no doubt one of those magical songs that you not only hear but, you feel it with your whole heart and soul.

“Special” feels personal , Olive Louise is a gifted and skilled songwriter and storyteller. Her delivery and vocal approach makes the listener feel an instant connection.

My father used to tell me, “you don’t paint apples red or flowers more vibrant” and that is always in the forefront of my mind. I don’t want my imperfections washed out. You can be soft and have grit.” Sporting a Victorian-like disheveled “au natural” look, her visual world is eerily nostalgic. “The events in my life have forced me through so many huge changes. I never could have seen my life going the way it has. It’s had a profound effect on what I resonate with. I understand not fitting in and moving around and trying to make sense of things without time to, and so that’s the imagery I’m drawn to and the music I write reflects my lived experience.”

Special” was written about an amalgamation of experiences where she felt nervous and out of place and had wished she could feel comfortable as herself rather than instantly wishing to leave. Olive confides, “I created this character in the song, this perfect person, that comes along, understands how I’m feeling, and says “let’s go look at the view” because that’s what I had almost always wished for in those times.”

We are absolutely enthralled with “Special” from Olive Louise and see what she does next.

We had the amazing opportunity to check out the new single/video for “Your Angel” from rlyblonde- the project of NYC-based multidisciplinary artist Carina Allen.

You can listen to “Your Angel” Here

We fell instantly for “Your Angel” from rlyblonde. “Your Angel” has this raw and authentic sound that is brimming with emotion. “Your Angel” is rlyblonde taking her sound to a whole new level.

As the saying goes, ‘hell hath no fury like a woman scorned,’ and rlyblonde proves that with her new single, “Your Angel.” It’s a cathartic release of anger packaged into an anthemic alt-rock banger.

“Creating music, for me, was always something fueled partially by anger; an anger at my life not being what I wanted, of being jealous of people around me, of feeling trapped or stuck,” she says. “So this song really sums up all of those angry, rebellious, teen feelings, while also tapping into something a bit darker— what it really feels like to have a trauma response to someone or something, and what to do with those complicated feelings.”

“Your Angel” is released with an accompanying visualizer that’s in-step with the song’s dark, brooding energy. The visualizer was produced by rlyblonde’s own production company, HOT CREATIVE (@rlyhotcreative). Handling the production and direction of all of her own videos, rlyblonde creates an all-encompassing visual world that compliments the music. “It’s one of the most important parts of the whole project,” she says.

You can check out the video for “Your Angel” below

After years of being the go-to photographer, videographer and creative director for New York’s favorite indie acts, rlyblonde stepped into the spotlight earlier this year with her debut EP, ‘Fantasy.’ The EP was met with praise by tastemakers like The Luna Collective, Unpublished Magazine, and Enfnts Terribles Magazine.

We have said it before and it bares repeating “rylblonde is a special artist, with a talent that doesn’t come along every day , we can’t wait to see what she does next …. We know it will be sensational. “

rlyblonde will be celebrating the release of “Your Angel” with a show at Gold Sounds in Brooklyn on November 29th. Tickets are available here.

She released her critically acclaimed debut solo album ‘Shoes Droppin’ in 2020. Via Wicked Cool Records

It’s been a long journey to center stage for Jessie Wagner. Having gained her greatest exposure to date by singing songs everyone knows the words to, on some of the world’s biggest stages, it’s only now, through sharing her own triumphs and pain, that the spotlight is shining directly on her at last.

Displaying an impressive range encompassing bluesy R&B, neo-soul, acoustic balladry and rock a la John Mayer’s more confessional side, Shoes maintained a unified sound rooted in ’60s and ’70s style production. The songs traced times of darkness and redemption for the Norfolk, Virginia native, now based in New York City, who also fronts the rock/soul band Army of the Underdog.

Recorded during downtime from the Little Steven world tour, ‘Shoes Droppin” was produced by drummer Dave Diamond (Bob Weir, Derek Trucks) with engineer Chris Laybourne, and featured co-writes with seasoned soul guitarist Sherrod Barnes (Beyoncé, Angie Stone, Ashanti, Whitney Houston, Roberta Flack and Queen Latifah)

Wagner will release her sophomore solo effort in 2024.

Jessie Wagner is a remarkable artist with an amazing vocal range and “Are You Scared” is phenomenal.

We were absolutely mesmerized by “Just Look At The Moon “ from Cade Hoppe. Right out of the gate with “Fresh Start” Cade Hoppe is transforming himself into a indie-pop tour de force, right before our very ears and we are loving every moment.

From heartfelt love songs (“Labels,” “Only Human”) to existential reflections (“Moon,” “Fresh Start”), the 7-track EP demonstrates his remarkable range — vocally, sonically, and lyrically. “I managed to get much more existential with this project, for better or worse,” he says. “The more I give to music and the pursuit of it, the more detached from reality I become, and there’s a lot of that in here.”

The EP features a range of musical guests and collaborators, like Rob Moose (Sufjan Stevens, Phoebe Bridges, Taylor Swift), Harper James (Eighty Ninety, James Bay, Aaron Taos), Bobby Hawk (Taylor Swift, The 1975, Florence and the Machine), and Jesse Blum (Twenty One Pilots, MisterWives, Nas) that amplify the record’s richly textured sound.

There is this really cool almost David Bowie feel on “Just Look At The Moon” We are not sure if it is intentional or just a happy coincidence, either way it’s another example of the ultra cool vibe that surrounds Cade Hoppe.

Every time the opportunity arises for the band to take their theatrical antics and on-stage chaos to the next level, they do not pass it up, and this track is no exception. The band seamlessly melds their early metalcore and nu-metal influences with the melodic mastery of current active rock to create a new iteration of Kissing Candice. Heidi Shepherd’s unrelentingly heavy feature acts as the cherry on top. The release coincides with the unveiling of their new masks and 2023 appearance at Louder Than Life Festival.

“All things must grow, or risk dying. It is with this in mind that Kissing Candice moves on to their next evolutionary phase with ‘skeletons’ signifying the strong foundation we will build upon.” Kissing Candice

Kissing Candice, the masked metal powerhouse from New York. Blending brutal aggression with haunting melodies, they’ve emerged as one of modern metal’s most captivating acts.

Acclaimed NYC Guitarist, Singer & Songwriter Steve Conte (New York Dolls, Michael Monroe) Releases New Single “Girl With No Name” And…. We Absolutely Love It

We recently had the distinct honor to check out the new single “Girl With No Name” via Wicked Cool Records from acclaimed singer and songwriter Steve Conte. (New York Dolls, Michael Monroe )

You can listen to “Girl With No Name” on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here

New York City guitarist, singer-songwriter Steve Conte is back– following the summer release of his single “Fourth Of July” (co-written with Andy Patridge of XTC)– with his latest track “Girl With No Name.”

Conte says, “This is a song of regret…about missed opportunity and lack of skills in meeting someone you’re attracted to.

When putting my new album together, I was looking for songs that would fit nicely alongside the songs that Andy Partridge and I had written for it and I kept thinking of this one. I wrote it back in 1984 and never forgot it – which was a good sign.

Because it came to me so long ago I can’t exactly remember my process for writing it, except that since I was young & single at that time I was probably experiencing these kinds of situations & feelings on a daily basis!

Musically, I can hear what was influencing me back then; mid 60s Beatles, mid 80s XTC, and that beloved Motown groove from a certain Diana Ross & The Supremes song…”

A follow-up LP to Conte’s acclaimed 2021 solo album Bronx Cheer, is expected in early 2024 via Steven Van Zandt’s Wicked Cool Records.

Steve Conte is an absolute guitar legend known for his memorable guitar work as a member of New York Dolls, as well as former Hanoi Rocks frontman Michael Monroe’s band (with whom he still performs), Steve found international fame in recent years via his collaborations with Japanese composer and artist Yoko Kanno on the soundtracks to several hit anime series, including Cowboy Bebop.

We instantly fell for the well crafted and memorable “Girl With No Name” , from Steve Conte . We found ourselves humming and singing “Girl With No Name” everywhere we went whether it was the bank or the grocery store “Girl With No Name “ is song you won’t soon forget.

We can’t wait for more music from the amazing Steve Conte

We were simply delighted to check out the debut single “See Through” from 19 year old singer-songwriter Kayla Oh. You can check out “See Through” on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here .

At just 19 years old, she has developed a stark, diaristic writing style that captures the experience of being a teenage girl: navigating first loves, overcoming heartbreak, grappling with insecurity and comparison, and simultaneously never wanting the teenage dream to end. These themes are the heart of Kayla’s songwriting and storytelling, helping her create music that is both achingly relatable and memorable. Her style is inspired by songwriting legends like Joni Mitchell, Phoebe Bridgers, and Stevie Nicks. Kayla admires and strives for the sort of writing that these women embraced, the kind that is unapologetically honest about womanhood while also being free from the pressure to remain “polite” or “ladylike”.

We are big fans of melodies here at The Whole Kameese , and Kayla Oh has crafted a brilliant melody with “See Through”

Kayla is super excited to share her debut single, “See Through”.

Here’s what she had to say about it: I wrote ‘See Through’about a relationship that ended right before we both went to college. It delves into that confusing feeling you experience when trying to move on from a person, where one moment it feels like you’ve fully healed and the next it feels like you’ve taken 10 steps backwards. At the time that I wrote the song, I was kept incredibly busy by the adjustment period that is starting college, and felt as if I’d healed from the breakup. The truth was, I had never really processed my heartbreak- and the healing I thought I’d felt was just the relief of being distracted. Writing ‘See Through was the first time I admitted to myself that I wasn’t as put together as I hoped to be. The result was a cathartic confession, and some of my most stark and relatable writing. Though I’ve come a long way in my healing since I wrote this song, I’m still really proud of what I was able to articulate then and hope the vulnerability I tapped into consoles listeners like it did for me

We can’t wait to see what Kayla Oh does next ,we have a feel it is going to amazing.

Malek Hanna Is Definitely Heading In The Right Direction With His Powerful New Single And Video For “Which Way To Go”

We recently had the opportunity to check out the latest single and video “Which Way To Go” from, pop singer/songwriter Malek Hanna. You can listen to “Which Way To Go “ on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here

You can also check out the video below

We are absolutely captivated by the flawless vocal performance from Malek Hanna on his stunning new single “Which Way To Go”

The Lebanese American artist, hailing from Brooklyn, New York, began his career in the church as the youngest lead soloist. Throughout the years, he’s performed on many stages, including for the Pope at the Vatican, the National Anthem for the LA Lakers, and on The VoiceArabia. His stint on The Voice provided the exposure needed to launch his music career, and the multi-cultural music showcase, Mélange, focused on highlighting other independent artists.

The “Which Way To Go” music video, directed by Monique Impagliazzo and starring TikTok star Devon Weetly, was selected for the Philadelphia’s Women Film Festival.

On his new song, “Which Way To Go,” Hanna explores the power of taking the road less traveled. Written and arranged alongside Jeff Stolper, the elusive track examines the courage it takes to stand in your own power and follow your heart despite outside forces trying to dissuade you. Powerhouse vocals and a pristine falsetto propel the piano-driven melody, a calm and collected ebb and flow of emotions that enrapture and entice. From the synthy undertones to a budding saxophone solo, the music builds to an incredible finish that leaves a lasting impression.

Malek Hanna, is much more than just a singer , he is a brilliantly talented artist who gives his heart and soul into every performance. His latest “Which Way To Go” is much more than a song.. it is a musical experience.

How Being A Dad Lead Me To Discover, Lawrence And Their Incredible New Single “I’m Confident I’m Insecure “

So normally I don’t get too personal on The Whole Kameese, but I figured what the heck, we’re all friends on here right?

So tonight (August 16th) my daughter, along with her friend and my wife are venturing into Boston to see The Jonas Brothers

So being the music loving dad that I am, I decided to see who the opener for tonight’s show is …. That’s when I discovered Lawrence.

Lawrence is a soul-pop group founded by New York raised sibling duo Clyde and Gracie Lawrence, who have been writing and performing music since childhood.

Now, Lawrence, is an eight piece soul band that has released three studio albums, plus several live and acoustic records.

The song that I discovered is their latest single “I’m Confident That I’m Insecure “

You can listen to “I’m Confident That I’m Insecure” on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here

After listening to “I’m Confident I’m Insecure” I wonder why I hadn’t checked Lawrence, out sooner . Lawrence has a big and beautiful sound that is headed by the show stopping vocals of Gracie Lawrence .

I more than give the dad seal of approval for Lawrence, we promptly checked out their impressive discography (For dad research, of course)

So do yourself a favor and check out Lawrence and “I’m Confident I’m Insecure I’m Confident confident that you won’t be disappointed.

Izzy Pingrey Delivers An Absolutely Stunning New Single “Flatline “

We recently had the distinct honor of checking out 17 year old New York based singer-songwriter Izzy Pingrey and her absolutely stunning new single “Flatline”

You can listen to “Flatline” on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here.

Her music is infused with the vibrant gritty energy and personality that she lives through every day on the way to school. She writes and produces her music with her dad in his studio along with their dog Mazie.

Izzy has a love of indie pop, 90’s rock and an eclectic mix of genres which , helps blends styles to carve out her own distinct sound that influences her writing and gives it a comfortably unique and raw feel.

Izzy states that she writes her songs as an outlet for self proclaimed “teenage shit,” but her main goal is to create music that can be relatable to anyone regardless of age and background, focusing on real emotions and personal experiences.

Izzy had this to say about the track : flatline’ is a song that I wrote about finally letting your guard down for someone. In the past, I’ve been really nervous about my love life, so although I’m an extrovert, I would refuse to tell people if I had feelings for them and would just run if anyone told me they liked me. But there was someone that I just liked so much and connected with on such a deep level that I had to kind of ‘give out’ and allow myself to get into a relationship. ‘flatline’ is a rock song that utilizes death as an analogy for setting free anxieties or reservations about a person and finally letting them in and letting yourself fall in love – because now, the part of me that was so scared of romance for so long is dead”.

There is no doubt that Izzy Pingrey is an artist on the rise. We can not wait to see what’s next for Izzy Pingrey, we have a feeling it is going to be spectacular.

Bitters And Distractions Deliver Absolute Punk Rock Perfection with Video For “Existentialism In A Car “

When we first heard that Long Island,Ny based duo Jeremy Quitko and Travis Johnides better known as Bitters And Distractions were an acoustic duo who played punk rock , we were instantly intrigued

Bitters And Distractions play real honest to goodness punk rock that because it is done acoustically is perhaps the most organic and genuine form of punk we have ever heard . So we found our favorite music video watching spot and checked out the video for “Existentialism In A Car “ which you can watch for yourself below (Spoiler Alert: It’s freaking amazing)

First things first … “Existentialism In A Car” isn’t just a good song…. It’s a freaking Great song. “Existentialism In A Car “ is a brilliantly crafted smartly written song that has an undeniable energy that you can’t ignore.

Style wise Bitters And Distractions remind us very much of Celtic punk in the vein of bands like The Dropkick Murphys and The Rumjacks . They play music that makes you want to raise pint and dance your heart out .

Bitters And Distractions represent everything that is good about music. It’s two guys who absolutely love making music . The song is so catchy that we can neither confirm nor deny but…we have sung the chorus at the top of our lungs while in drop off line at our kid’s school.

As for the video, we love everything about it especially the DIY spirit of this video . The guys looked like they were having a total blast . It felt like we were getting our own personal performance. If your still looking for your new favorite band of 2023 look no further than Bitters And Distractions you won’t regret it .
