We Freaking Love The New EP , “Brittle But Elite”, From TeethOut, And You Will Too

We are beyond excited, to finally check out the new EP, Brittle But Elite”, via the fine folks from High End Denim Records, from Charlottetown, PEI , punks , TeethOut. You can listen to “Brittle But Elite “ Here

Formed in 2024 in Charlottetown, PEI, TeethOut is a punk band that plays like they’re still 20—fast, loud, and with something to prove. Rooted in the traditions of skatepunk and 90s melodic hardcore, the band blends breakneck speed with introspective lyricism, delivering a sound that’s both nostalgic and urgent. Despite their recent formation, TeethOut has already earned a reputation for raw, high-energy live shows and no-frills punk songwriting.

We were immediately drawn to the style , sound and vibe of TeethOut. They pour everything they have in to their music and, it shows glowingly on “Brittle But Elite”

The project began with a simple idea: reconnect with the cathartic energy of the music they grew up on. Early writing sessions between founding members Jason, Josh, and Ira sparked what would become Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is, their debut EP released in January 2025 on High End Denim Records. Tracks like “Streetlights” and “Down on Queen” introduced listeners to a band unafraid to mix emotional honesty with punk aggression.

The lineup has since solidified with Josh Lavigne (vocals), Ira Banks (guitar), Brandon Doyle (guitar), Pete MacDonald (bass), and Jason Ezeard (drums). Each member brings decades of experience in East Coast punk and hardcore, but TeethOut is more than a throwback project—it’s a reaction to the chaos of modern life and a commitment to staying loud through it all.

If you like punk rock…. TeethOut, is the band that will get you to love punk rock. The band has further crafted and redefine their already killer sound and elevated it to new heights with their second EP , Brittle But Elite

Featuring a guest spot from Madison Regan (Last Good Thing) on the lead track “Lifeline II,” the new record digs deeper into themes of regret, survival, and hope in a collapsing world. From the explosive melancholy of “Walking Down” to the stripped-down vulnerability of “Cancel Me (Acoustic),” the EP balances chaos with clarity—delivered at full speed. TeethOut, is not a one trick pony and it really shows on “Brittle But Elite”

Teeth Out Surge Forward With Electrifying New Single, “Flicker Out”

We recently had the distinct honor to check out the new single, “Flicker Out” , via High End Denim Records from Prince Edward Island’s finest – TeethOut!

You can listen to the blazing new single, “Teeth Out” on Spotify Here , Apple Music Here and on Bandcamp Here

We consider ourselves extremely lucky to be able to listen to some amazing music and share it with the world. Teeth Out in our opinion has such a unique sound and vibe , and it is on full display on their latest incredible single, “Flicker Out”

TeethOut is a skate-punk band from Charlottetown, PEI, formed in 2024. Made up of very middle-aged men trying to do things like they were 30 again, the band includes Josh Lavigne on vocals, Ira Banks and Brandon Doyle on guitars, Pete MacDonald on bass, and Jason Ezeard on drums. Inspired by the 90s punk sound, they bring an energetic style and catchy melodies that is so electrifying, they could probably light up all of the houses in PEI, with their amazing musical energy.

Following a lineup change right before the band released Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is ( which by the way freaking rules!( in January, they wasted no time writing with their two new members, diving straight into fresh material. Flicker Out is the first look at this new chapter.  As always, the band used Shawn Taggart at Hog Audio to produce & mix the track.   And there’s more on the way—a new four-song EP, Brittle but Elite, is set to drop in early April, delivering another dose of high-energy, no-nonsense skate punk.

Ozone – Flicker Out was born from frustration—the kind that comes from watching the same fights play out over and over with no real winners. We wanted the song to feel urgent and raw, with lyrics that capture the exhaustion of endless conflict and the need to step away. I think Josh captured that well with his lyrics.  Musically, we feel that it hits fast and hard, balancing melody with aggression, and of course, staying true to our “old-man” approach to skate-punk.”

We are absolutely over the moon about “Flicker Out” from Teeth Out, and we can’t wait for more.
