Laklan Releases Stunningly Beautiful New Single, “I Would (Piano Version “

The stripped back project expands upon his latest releases of “I Would/ I Would Pt. 2”, from December, 2024. This version still holds the same message as the atmospheric pop hits before, which paints the story of the torn feeling you have when knowing someone isn’t good for you; yet you keep going back to them anyways. Now, you can feel the song in a whole new light with raw vocals and melodic piano riffs in the stormy world Laklan created.

There is a mysterious/ cinematic vibe that exists within , I Would (Piano Version “, from Laklan . The melody and tone coupled with flawless vocals make for a stunning musical experience that we simply cannot ignore.

Inspired by different acoustic versions other artists have done for their songs, Laklan was determined to reveal a new side of himself with this piano version. The new ballad expands his production style apart from the club beats he usually creates to something more simpler, yet challenging. He goes on to add, “I was really excited to explore this new territory. It is the opposite of what I usually make and I definitely needed help creating the right sound. I had my friend from Nashville (who goes by the artist name m.e.g) listen to the original version of “I Would” and she mimicked the looping synth on the piano to give a sense of familiarity to it. He continues, “After we arranged the track how we liked, I wanted to add thunder and rain sounds in the background to give it a certain type of feeling.” In a joking manner he confesses, “I could have added strings and drums to make it more dramatic, but I think less is more at this time. This version gives a real honest glimpse into what the song is about and I think others will resonate with that.”

The true mark of a skilled musician, is the ability to offer different perspectives and dimensions to the music that you create , Laklan, has done this effortlessly and beautifully with “I Would (Piano Version)”
