All My Friends Have Crafted A Fierce New Anthem With “Tourmaline”

We recently had the amazing opportunity to check out the new single “Tourmaline” from All My Friends, via Moon Barn Records. We were absolutely floored , “Tourmaline “ freaking rocks !

You can listen to “Tourmaline” Here

All My Friends, is a one-woman wrecking ball of punk ferocity and undeniable hooks, led by LGBTQ songwriter Christina Picciano. Based out of Westchester County, New York.

She has been hard at work on the band’s upcoming full-length record. Along the way, she has left a trail of breadcrumbs, including the singles “Pennsylvania,”
Do You Want Me?” and the recently banned from TikTok Anti-Trump single “How Could You?” Now, Picciano is releasing her brand new queer rallying cry, “Tourmaline.”

With towering riffs and a call for all creeps to back-the-fuck-off, Picciano describes the song as “bubble gum grunge with bite — a fierce, queer anthem about reclaiming your energy from an ‘energy vampire.'” adding that “it’s a cathartic protection spell in song form.”

Christina Picciano, is a next level songwriter, who has created an absolute gem with , “Tourmaline “, that has a melody that resonates for days .

Sleep Pod Two Release Stellar New Single, “All That We Have (Is Each Other )”

“All That We Have (Is Each Other)” Is The Lead Single, From Debut EP, “Rehearse Your Future, Via Mindpower Records , August 29th.

We recently had the amazing opportunity to check out the lead single, “All That We Have (Is Each Other) “ from Sleep Pod Two. You can listen to “All That We Have ( Is Each Other) Here

The power of music connects us in so many ways,” says guitarist Todd Trout“‘All That We Have (Is Each Other)’ blends tragedy—from loss to addiction—with a straightforward message of hope and support. Life can be awesome, but it can also be hard, unfair, and hard to stand when it knocks your legs out from under you. This song is about leaning on the people who care deeply for you, even if you can’t see it at the time. Here’s my promise, here’s my word, here’s my heart laid out for you.”

Though formed only in late 2022, Sleep Pod Two’s story is one of parallel existence, woven through decades of independent music. All four members—Trout (Gameface), Guy Julian (The Tank, Gameface), Chris Whyte(Cheswick, One Hundred Words for Snow), and Wal Rashidi (Jr. Juggernaut, For Closure)—trace their roots back to Southern California’s 1990s punk rock scene, particularly the long-running connections surrounding Gameface.

Whyte, once a fan who contributed photos to Gameface’s sophomore album Three to Get Ready, reconnected with Trout after years away from playing music. Talking with Todd, he was the same big-hearted, motivating, empathetic soul that I remembered,” says Whyte. “We wanted like-minded bandmates to make the creative process low pressure, genuine, and fun.” Julian and Rashidi soon joined, completing the lineup.

What really stands out is “All That We Have ( Is Each Other )” , from Sleep Pod Two, is a song that radiates an authentic and genuine message with a pure punk rock soul.

With Rehearse Your Future, Sleep Pod Two transforms decades of friendship and musical intersections into a heartfelt debut that insists, above all, that all that we have is each other.

The Sweet Sounds Of Sweet Gloom Reach New Heights With New Single, “LOUDMOUTHS”

US West Coast tour supporting Streetlight Manifesto.

You can’t see it but …. We have a big freaking smile on our face , because we are beyond smitten with the new single, “LOUDMOUTHS” , from our favorite crooner punks, Sweet Gloom . You can check out , “LOUDMOUTHS” Here

For us when it comes to soul soothing punk rock, Nobody hits the sweet spot quite like Sweet Gloom, and on their latest single, “LOUDMOUTHS”, they are firing a thousand percent on all cylinders…. And it’s freaking beautiful.

With vocalist/guitarist Jaake Margo’s classic ’50s/’60s pop-inflected vocals against modern punk urgency, the track rockets forward on fuzz-sweet guitars, sugary-silk vocal harmonies, and driving rhythm. Rather than villainizing either partner, “LOUDMOUTHS” traps listeners inside the looping debate.

The song puts the listener smack dab in the middle of a tumultuous relationship,” said Margo. “You ask your partner: if we argue this much, are we ever gonna make it? Are we soulmates or are we destined for failure?”

Everyone always wants to know what’s new ? What’s fresh?….. Look no further than “LOUDMOUTHS” from Sweet Gloom.

Die Job Conjures Up Pure Punk Rock Magic With Latest Single, “The One Where Cyrus Has Friends “

In the beginning of July, we had the unbelievable good fortune, to check out , melodic East Vancouver, punk rock geniuses, Die Job ( Cyrus Lord, vocals/guitar , Jessie Rockley, viola/vocals, Jesse Death, bass/vocals, Violet Becker, drums ) and their epically awesome single, “Creature Of Habit “, which if your scoring at home ( and we know you are) we freaking loved it !!!

Well we are still basking in the warmth of July, and we get another Die Job single….. we feel like we have won the punk rock lottery with the new single, via Kinda Cool Records, “The One Where Cyrus Has Friends “

You can listen to “The One Where Cyrus Has Friends “ on Spotify Here, Apple Music Here

This is a poetic, yet rowdy journey through the ups and downs of friendship. The wordplay in this cathartic anthem isn’t just a clever trick, it’s a tool to process grief and contemplate mortality. A triumph for fans of the golden era of Skate Punk, it hints at the speed and harmony of NOFX, while winking with a Rancid like swagger. Soulful & fun, this song burns bright in honour of everyone we’ve loved & lost… because through art, they live on forever!” Cyrus Lord

A melodic sing-along, punk masterpiece, “The One Where Cyrus Has Friends” is ready to be your new favorite song . And… like we said before… Any band that has a viola , should be toasted and celebrated for infinity.

“The One Where Cyrus Has Friends “ is a lightning quick ball of punk rock energy, that we simply couldn’t get enough of. We found ourselves dancing around our office and singing at the top of our lungs. Die Job are more than a band they are the ultimate punk rock experience.

We Are All In On Heartwells New EP, “OLLIE”

We are wicked pumped to finally check out the new EP, “OLLIE”, via Hey!Fever Records from Southern California punk band Heartwells. You can listen to “Ollie” on Spotify Here, Apple Music Here

Heartwells have an infectious sound and vibe that comes at you fast and furious, this is on full display on the band’s latest EP, “Ollie. If you are not hyped up after this EP, we suggest medical attention- freaking brilliant!

This record is extremely sentimental and personal to me,” says Heartwells’s JT, who wrote what he calls “probably the saddest song I’ve ever written” about his father. “We feel we’ve come a long way since our last release. The chemistry and dynamic of the band really shine on this EP—it feels like a full-length record in just six songs.”

From the first note on the first track, “Over Me”, there is no denying the sheer power, emotion, and energy that is ever present throughout “OLLIE”

Following up their fan-favorite The New Old School, the band put everything on the table to push themselves further. Two songs were written in the studio on the spot, with band members creating their parts without hearing the songs beforehand—an approach that was “both exciting and stressful,” according to JT.

Recorded at Buzzbomb Studios in Orange, CA with longtime producer Paul Miner, the EP benefits from a collaborative energy and veteran production touch. Paul has been our guiding light from the start,” JT says. He really stepped up as a producer on this one, helping bring out the full potential of every song.” The EP was mastered by Chris Hesse of Hoobastank, giving Ollie its polished yet punchy final sound.

The title Ollie is a nod to both the band’s skatepunk roots and the adorable dog featured on the cover—Moki’s pup, Ollie. It’s a playful visual for a record that dives deep into themes of personal struggle, fractured relationships, family dynamics, and social unrest. “It’s a pretty dark record,” JT explains, “but it has a lot of bright energy. I figured putting a cute dog on the cover would balance it out.”

We are all in on Heartwells and their spectacular new EP, “Ollie” And…. We think you will be too.

Brendan Scholz, alongside bassist Jarred Cooper and drummer Ryan Seaman, crafts a track that’s as cathartic as it is catchy. Coming off their Bill Stevenson–produced LP What You Stand To Lose, the Vegas trio shows no signs of slowing down.

We absolutely love the energy and vibe from Mercy Music, “Big Fucking Mess” is absolutely electric.

Danger Days Courtesy Of Danger Days

Already Dead Have Made Their Presence Known With An Absolute Hardcore Punk Masterpiece, “I Think It’s Time To Leave…”

If high octane , no thrills punk rock is your thing …. We have the EP, you have been waiting for! Massachusetts based Already Dead , have delivered a new EP, “I Think It’s Time To Leave” that will send your music loving heart in to an absolute frenzy.

You can listen to “I Think It’s Time To Leave..” on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here .

The new hardcore punk EP called I Think It’s Time To Leave…, from, Already Dead, is out on digital and 7-inch vinyl today.( Friday, June 20. )

The new record comes hot on the heels of last year’s explosive Something Like a War album – which earned the band mentions and microphones everywhere from WGBH’s The Culture Show and WBUR, Boston’s NPR to New Noise, Maximum Rocknroll, and Dying Scene – and delivers Already Dead’s first-ever vinyl issue. The 7-inch release party goes down Saturday, June 28 at Koto in Lowell alongside Vauli, The McGunks, and Autumn Astronauts

Courtesy Of The Band

Front and center on the new record,is a reloaded and rebooted Already Dead lineup, as founding members Dan Cummings (vocals and guitar) and Brandon Bartlett (vocals and guitars) are now rounded out by Ian Killpartrick (bass) and Forgie (drums). Cummings and Bartlett, who also split writing duties on this record, with Bartlett taking on an enhanced role in the band’s creative process, did not have to look far for the new members. In fact, they just had to look at their own teenage backyards located just outside of Boston.

The whole band is now from the same damn small town, born and raised,” Cummings says with a laugh. “We all know each other in different ways, and are somewhat separated by age, but there is a certain camaraderie when you grew up partying in the same woods or neighborhoods. It made it really easy to be comfortable and start creating immediately.”

I Think It’s Time To Leave… was co-produced by the band and longtime collaborator Jim Corbett, and recorded and mixed by Corbett at The Bridge Sound and Stage in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The record was mastered by Stephen Pettyjohn at Ethereal Mastering, and as for all Already Dead releases, the artwork is illustrated and designed by Mark Saffie of Saffie Design.

The EP, packs a perfectly crafted sonic punch that you feel from the first note of the opening track , “I’ll Go Mind”, all the way through to the last note on “Nothin Wrong” On “I Think It’s Time To Leave.. “ , Already Dead , prove to be punk rock kings of the ring, with an EP, that is an absolute knockout.

Each song centers around a loose theme of getting out of somewhere – whether it be a bad relationship, a difficult situation, a person’s expectations, or simply an annoying conversation. And as usual, the brute force Already Dead deliver this theme provides enough motivation to just get up and leave with purpose and distinction.

All the songs on this record felt cohesive, so I tried to think of something to tie them together,” says Bartlett. “Pretty quickly I Think It’s Time to Leave… popped into my mind because I equated it to making sense, in some way, for each song. Adding an ellipsis after the title leaves it open to what we’re leaving behind in each song.”

Lead single, “Time” and “Sick Talk” are two solid songs that we were singing along to almost instantly. The standout track, on “I Think It’s Time To Leave..” , in our opinion is “Gettin By” . We love everything about this track. It is Already Dead at their absolute best.

You owe it to your music loving heart to check out “I Think It’s Time To Leave” from Already Dead. You will not be disappointed.

Formed in Athens, Greece in 2016, QUALIA quickly made waves in the local scene with their debut single The Overview Effect(2017), followed by their first album in 2018 released with support from Polyscope Music. So full disclosure: up until today we had never heard of CARSICK. ( We have no idea what took us so long ) We were completely mesmerized by the punk rock brilliance of CARSICK, and their mind blowing new single, “Pub Watch”

    Credit- @DevPlacePhotos

The band are also delighted to announce today select UK headline dates and a packed festival schedule for the summer, including appearances at Rebellion Festival, Boomtown, Sziget, Bearded Theory Fest and more (see below for listings).

Recorded, mixed and mastered by Sam Winfield and Tom Millar at Studio 91, Newbury, ‘Pub Watch’ is yet another strong foot forward from the rapidly-rising quartet, and the first taste of a larger body of work coming later this year.

Their haywire live shows and no-holds-barred approach to the party lifestyle have garnered the band both notoriety and an increasingly ardent young fanbase, as evidenced by their notably packed out festival appearances last summer, with ‘Pub Watch’ serving as yet another nihilistic anthem for the late stage capitalism generation.

Commenting on the single, the band say: Pub Watch is the soundtrack to the most chaotic piss-up of your life. From hammering too many pre-drinks to sneaking contraband into the bar to being kicked out for getting too rowdy, we’ve all had nights which have landed us in the town’s bouncers’ bad books. This is a track which has been a staple in our live set since the early days of the band and is a guaranteed pit-starter, so we’re buzzing to finally have it out there for people to hear.”

CARSICK, is punk rock perfection, delivering an electrifying new single, with “Pub Watch” that has left us absolutely speechless. Everyone seems to have their own definition of punk . CARSICK, is punk rock to the core and it is a thing of beauty.

    We can’t wait for more.

Hailing from the snowy north of Canara, its members—veterans of bands like Handheld and Frank Dux—are united by one mission: crafting great punk rock songs. From sneaking into gigs as kids to performing on festival stages alongside their heroes, punk has always been in their DNA. With soaring melodies, driving guitar riffs, and unstoppable energy, CURBSIDE doesn’t just play fast punk—they live it. And for them, outgrowing it isn’t an option.

Covering ‘Whip It’ felt like the perfect way to pay tribute while ripping it open for a new generation.” Shot in downtown Los Angeles in January 2025 – right in the middle of the city’s wildfire devastation – the ‘Whip It’ video is a high-intensity, no-holds-barred spectacle. Directed, edited, and enhanced with SFX by Faust (Infinivision), with cinematography by Blake Russ, and Money$Punk Productions backing the madness, the video blends surrealism with pure punk destruction.

Teeth Out Surge Forward With Electrifying New Single, “Flicker Out”

We recently had the distinct honor to check out the new single, “Flicker Out” , via High End Denim Records from Prince Edward Island’s finest – TeethOut!

You can listen to the blazing new single, “Teeth Out” on Spotify Here , Apple Music Here and on Bandcamp Here

We consider ourselves extremely lucky to be able to listen to some amazing music and share it with the world. Teeth Out in our opinion has such a unique sound and vibe , and it is on full display on their latest incredible single, “Flicker Out”

TeethOut is a skate-punk band from Charlottetown, PEI, formed in 2024. Made up of very middle-aged men trying to do things like they were 30 again, the band includes Josh Lavigne on vocals, Ira Banks and Brandon Doyle on guitars, Pete MacDonald on bass, and Jason Ezeard on drums. Inspired by the 90s punk sound, they bring an energetic style and catchy melodies that is so electrifying, they could probably light up all of the houses in PEI, with their amazing musical energy.

Following a lineup change right before the band released Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is ( which by the way freaking rules!( in January, they wasted no time writing with their two new members, diving straight into fresh material. Flicker Out is the first look at this new chapter.  As always, the band used Shawn Taggart at Hog Audio to produce & mix the track.   And there’s more on the way—a new four-song EP, Brittle but Elite, is set to drop in early April, delivering another dose of high-energy, no-nonsense skate punk.

Ozone – Flicker Out was born from frustration—the kind that comes from watching the same fights play out over and over with no real winners. We wanted the song to feel urgent and raw, with lyrics that capture the exhaustion of endless conflict and the need to step away. I think Josh captured that well with his lyrics.  Musically, we feel that it hits fast and hard, balancing melody with aggression, and of course, staying true to our “old-man” approach to skate-punk.”

We are absolutely over the moon about “Flicker Out” from Teeth Out, and we can’t wait for more.

    Catch TeethOut on tour!

No Motiv Prove With “Never Ending Cloudy Day “ That Amazing Songs Never Go Out Of Style

Originally Off Their 1996 LP “Cynical”

We recently had the amazing opportunity to check out the recently recorded version of Never Ending Cloudy Day”, from Veteran punk rock and emo band No Motiv. The song was originally featured on their 1996 LP Cynical. You can listen to “Never Ending Cloudy Day” Here

Revisiting this early piece of their history, the band breathes new life into a track that remains just as relevant today as it was nearly three decades ago.

Reflecting on the origins of “Never Ending Cloudy Day,” Jeremy Palaszewski (vocals, guitar) shared:

This song is pretty old. I think it was about 1995 or so. I just remember there was a lot of homophobia growing up around my hometown. Friends and older brothers, even dads were always calling people homos and f*gs in a derogatory way.

My brother was gay, so it was very abrasive for me to hear people talk so shallow and cheaply about people they don’t even know.

I guess I just got sick of hearing talk like that, so naturally, I wrote a song about someone coming out of the closet. Who cares if anyone is gay anyways? Shouldn’t even matter or be an issue when it comes to common decency and friendship.”

Drummer Patrick Pedraza recalls the early days of the song and the impact it had within their scene:

We were just out of high school. Jeremy wrote a simple song that just came together so easily. A local radio station had it on full rotation. We were like, what the heck? It was a fun time.”

Now, nearly 30 years later, No Motiv has revisited the track in a time where its message remains crucial. Roger Camero(bass) reflected on its original release and the importance of bringing it back now:

It’s a trip going back and listening to the original version of “Never Ending Cloudy Day.” During high school, before I joined the band, I was watching the band do special things that the rest of us really looked up to. They were playing shows outside of Oxnard, recording at studios like Fat Planet, and putting out records. This era of No Motiv helped pave the way for the next generation of Nardcore bands to carry the torch that was lit by the OG bands, like Ill Repute, Dr. Know, and Agression.

“Never Ending Cloudy Day”, from No Motiv , has always been one of those songs that you always remember. The electrifying melody and important message is something that will live forever.

Never Ending Cloudy Day” (2024) is available now on all major streaming platforms via Wiretap Records.

CMAGIC5 flips the script on fairy tale romances in pop/rock anthem “Happy Never After”

We recently had the opportunity to check out the single and video , for “Happy Never After” , from Toronto, based singer-songwriter, musician, and recording artist, CMAGIC5, ( they call her C) You can listen to “Happy Never After” on Spotify Here , Apple Music, Here . You can also watch the video below

With an infectious energy and a rock ‘n’ roll spirit, C writes edgy, power pop, punk-flavoured soundtracks that embrace the highs and lows of coming-of-age and celebrate your inner rebel. Her incredibly catchy anthems with soulful vocals get your heart pumping and invite you to channel that “main character energy.”

We absolutely love the vibe of , CMAGIC5, she has a vibrant tone that we can’t ignore, “Happy Never After”, had us hanging on every word and singing our heart out

Her single, “Happy Never After” marks the beginning of a new CMAGIC5 era. The title-track from her upcoming EP, crafted alongside Grammy-nominated and Juno-winning producers, “Happy Never After” was born out of a desire to break free from the clichés of fairy tale romances and unrealistic standards of relationships portrayed on social media. Putting an angsty twist on the classic “happily ever after,” the songwriter shares, “I wanted to create a song that reclaims power after heartbreak, turning pain into empowerment. The idea sparked during a late-night writing session where the concept of a modern-day “anti-fairytale” resonated deeply. Drawing from personal experiences and stories of others navigating toxic relationships, the song evolved into a fierce anthem of self-love and strength.”

Flipping the script on fairy tale romances, “Happy Never After” features razor-sharp lyrics and a contagious modern pop-rock beat, capturing the fallout of heartbreak with sass and unrelenting honesty. Capturing that sense of rebellion, it’s empowering and unapologetically catchy, with a fierce energy that will have you ready to scream along with every word. The song radiates catharsis, blending a punchy pop-rock sound with raw emotion. With its driving guitar riffs and huge drums, it’s reminiscent of early Avril Lavigne and modern Olivia Rodrigo. It feels like a nostalgic pop-rock anthem from the 2000s, reimagined with a fresh, bold perspective. This is your breakup anthem of the year—because not every fairytale ends in “happily ever after.”

The artist explains, “I created a track that’s a celebratory anthem for moving on from toxic ex-lovers, friends, or bosses—those people who play the role of “Prince Charming” or “Romeo,” but you can foresee the signs and know exactly how that last chapter of the story will end, unless you recognize the cues and opt out before the hurt. It’s all about empowering yourself and others to avoid getting hurt again and walking away before it’s too late.”

accompanying music video for “Happy Never After” reimagines Alice in Wonderland into a dark and twisted, Tim Burton-esque world. C plays Alice as she falls into this chaotic, whimsical realm, where she encounters a seductive, manipulative Mad Hatter who embodies the toxic allure of unhealthy love. Alice battles the Hatter’s temptation, navigating a world of distorted visuals, oversized objects, and vibrant chaos. The song’s cathartic anthem builds to a climactic moment where Alice burns the “Happy Never After” book in a witch’s cauldron, symbolizing her escape from the false fantasy of perfect love.

CMAGIC5, is artist in every sense of the word and it is on grand display with “Happy Never After” We have a feeling CMAGIC5, is just getting warmed up.

You can listen to “I Hate The Summer” Here

We are 100% all in on the new explosive punk and roll track “I Hate The Summer “ the energy and vibe that Hearts Apart brings is positively electric.

    Photo: Alessandro Digiuni

When asked about the single the band shares: I Hate The Summer is a song that encapsulates much of what Hearts Apart is about: punk rock, desperation, rock’n’roll, sadness, fun, nerdy vibes, irony, failure. Yes, we believe you can sweat away the darkness by dancing and crying at the same time, and this song is perfect for that.”

Those who have already appreciated Hearts Apart’s electrifying energy, catchy melodies, and engaging live performances will be thrilled with this comeback. All the signature elements of their unique sound are present but cranked up to the next level. If “I Hate The Summer” sets the perfect mood for this return, the entire EP, titled “Summer Bummer,” is ready to give voice to the mix of conflicting emotions that summer tends to amplify.

Hearts Apart ( Checco, Giò, Punch, and Silva.) are a highly skilled and energized band that we feel are just getting Rev’d up. We absolutely can’t wait for more from Hearts Apart.

95COROLLA Is Clearly In The Driver’s Seat With Latest EP “LOUDER/FASTER/SADDER”

We recently had the chance to check out the latest EP “LOUDER/FASTER/SADDER”, via We’re Trying Records, from Nashville skate punks 95COROLLA.

You can listen to “LOUDER/FASTER/SADDER” on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here.

On February 4th, 2023, 95COROLLA self-released The Loud Fast Sad EP to all their friends in Nashvilles. It represented the beginning of the band escaping from Kristy Garrett’s laptop and into the world. It was done hastily, and with reckless abandon.

The new EP is louder, faster, and sadder with one more song. LOUDER / FASTER / SADDER is the end of a chapter for the band and an end of a wild year in general.

95COROLLA is a band that is clearly finding their next gear . “LOUDER/FASTER/SADDER “ is a textbook example of a band who is evolving and pushing through to the next level and… it sounds freaking amazing. We fell instantly for every track however, if we had to pick our favorite track it would be without question- “10 And 2” – The song is a well written gem that showcases the band at their absolute best.

Along with the EP, 95COROLLA will also be releasing their album LONG TIME LISTENER / FIRST TIME CALLER on transparent purple vinyl .

Every song on “LOUDER/FASTER/SADDER is a sonic and melodic work of art . If music is what your soul craves then you need to get lost in the magic that is “LOUDER/FASTER/ SADDER

Legendary Arizona punk rock band Authority Zero is marking its 30th anniversary with the release of a new six-song EP titled Thirty Years: Speaking to the Youth.

We consider ourselves super lucky to be able to check out the new EP “Thirty Years :Speaking To The Youth from legendary Arizona punk rock band Authority Zero (Spoiler Alert , this EP is absolute fire!)

You can listen to “Thirty Years:Speaking To The Youth Here You order the absolutely beautiful vinyl Here

We can’t believe it’s been thirty years of absolutely incredible music from Authority Zero. And based on their blazing new EP, “Thirty Years:Speaking To The Youth they sound better ever !

The EP, titled Thirty Years: Speaking to the Youth,” is “essentially about believing in yourself and fighting for what you believe in,”frontman Jason DeVore says. “Whatever that may be.”

The lyrics reflect on the world he sees around him through the filter on his own experiences.

It’s about the journey of this life and the awareness of it all,” he says. Each moment good or bad. If there’s something that you love and feel a strong conviction about, don’t be afraid to stand up and speak about it, fight for it, be heard, and ultimately live and embrace it in its entirety.”

DeVore, bassist Mike Spero, guitarist Brandon Landelius and drummer Chris Dalley spent a week in Arizona writing “30 Years,” their first new music since the 2021 release of Ollie Ollie Oxen Free.”

So, it’s really what Authority Zero sounds like right now when you put the four of us in a room for a week,” DeVore says.

The bandmates then spent two weeks with producer Cameron Webb, who also took the helm on Ollie Ollie Oxen Free” and 2013’s “The Tipping Point” at Maple Studios in Santa Ana, California.

We absolutely cannot get enough of this new EP , right from the first note on “A Change In The Tide” we found ourselves in the presence of absolute punk rock goodness.

We love the energy on “Lights Out”, in our opinion, this song is best enjoyed with the windows in your car down and the volume all the way up . We got lots of looks dancing it out at red lights but who cares? …. If you can’t dance it out to an amazing song… what’s the point?

We love the ska/reggae feel on “Ways To Wage A War” Authority Zero absolutely shines on this amazing track.

With six amazing songs , it is almost impossible to pick a favorite but, if we had to… it would be without question “Long Way To Go” , we love everything about this song . Sonically and melodically perfect… an absolute gem.

The message and vibe on “Second Chances” is absolutely on point , we really like the melody and vocals on this track.

The final track on the EP is the title track “Speaking To The Youth “ is an incredible groove that is overflowing with energy . We had this one on repeat for days.

“Thirty Years: Speaking To The Youth”, from Authority Zero is quite possibly the best way to spend 22 minutes of your day.

Perfect melody and the two styles of vocals is just breathtakingly freaking awesome.

“Oh This Sin of Mine”, is the third single from their upcoming debut album “One Cut Away From Love” out on November 15 via Punkerton Records. The song begins solemnly and builds methodically fully igniting as we reach the bitter end. Signed to Punkerton Records in 2023, KNIVES is ready to take the scene by storm. Their debut LP, “One Cut Away From Love,” is set to drop on November 15, 2024. Deegie Delivers The Most Epic Perspective On Relationships Of All Time With New Album “EXES”

We recently had the most excellent opportunity to check out the new album “EXES “ from Los Angeles based pop-punk trailblazer deegie. You can listen to “EXES” Here.

We have to be honest… we freaking love “EXES” from Deegie. It is 10 tracks of pure pop punk genius.

The LP is a brutally honest collection of 10 song sall about the exploration of dating.Sonically daring, the music serves as both a time capsule of contemporary romantic struggles and a cathartic scream into the void for anyone who’s ever navigated the treacherous waters of modern relationships.

The idea for the EXES  was sparked when deegie stumbled upon her online journals spanning nearly a decade, which included details about her past casual and serious relationships that were too good not to indulge in. From men who made it clear they never wanted to be serious, to clingy, cloying men who held her too tight, each song is an exploration of memory, accountability, and the perspective bestowed by time.

The songwriting and melodies on “EXES” are absolutely flawless. The record is personal and authentic. You can’t fake real and Deegie, has crafted an absolute gem of album .

There is also a relatability within the album, in that we have maybe been or know someone who has been in similar relationship situation.

Every song is pure pop punk perfection. We honestly can’t pick a favorite song , as every song is a work of art.

So find your favorite music listening spot and get lost in the greatness that is “EXES” from Deegie.

The Goodwin Club Deliver Bright New Single And Video For “See All Color”,Sign With Wiretap Records.

We recently got the awesome opportunity to check out the new single and video for “See All Colors” from OC Ska/Punk vets The Goodwin Club. You can listen to “See All Colors” Here And you can check out the video below.

Listening to the new single “See All Color” from The Goodwin Club, is a bright beautiful blast from the past and we are absolutely loving it .

The Goodwin Club became staples in the early-mid 90’s OC ska scene, playing early packed shows with the likes of Reel Big Fish, No Doubt, Sublime,The Aquabatsand more before dissolving in 1995. The lively local act featured members that went on to be in such bands as The Aquabats, The Hippos, The Scholars, Teen Heroes and Reel Big Fish.

The early.mid 90’s OC ska scene was such a vibrant scene , we are thrilled to know that The Goodwin Club has delivered a kick ass new tune with “See All Color” and… we are also thrilled to know that The Goodwin Club is announcing today that they are signing with SoCal label Wiretap Records as they prep their new album “Join the Club” almost 30 years after their first album.

Vocalist Tami Demaree says, “I think we were so young we were kinda set apart from other bands. We had both a male and female singer which was different from other bands back then as well. Other than surf all we had to do back then in Orange County was have a band. We practiced a lot and we immediately recorded a four song demo. Doing that, we got on lots of shows quickly. John Pantle from the Knuckle brothers took us under his wing and had us opening for lots of shows. He was probably the only ska promoter back then and the reason the ska scene was so big in OC.”

The band says, 30 years between album releases might sound impossible to some, but we in The Goodwin Club stare impossibility square in the eyes and say NAY, It shall be done!

We’ve loved creating the best high energy live show possible together these past few years but now we’ve bottled up that energy, churned it like crazy, and channeled it into our new album, “Join The Club” coming out on Wiretap Records, this summer! We can’t wait for you to listen, come to the shows again, and . . . JOIN. THE. CLUB!!!”

The Goodwin Club started in 1993. Members were all from the Huntington Beach area and mostly went to Edison High School. The original line up was Tami Demaree (vocals), Charles Grey (guitar) , Erick Hauser (bass), Marc Bosman (keys) , Andy Goodman (drums), Patrick McDonald (trombone), Jesse Wilder (sax), Adam Diebert (trumpet), Christ Scott (vocals). Later members included Aaron Barrett (trombone), Scott Klopfenstein (trumpet), Grant Barry (trombone), Dean Medford (sax) , Corey Pollack (guitar) and Rich Zahniser (trombone). The band dissolved in 1995 due to half the band going on to college. Most remaining members joined The Aquabats while other members were in The Hippos, The Scholars, Teen Heroes and Reel Big Fish.

Belgian Punks F.O.D. Releasing 6th Album “The Once A Virgin Club” Out April 5th Via SBÄM Records/Double Helix Records

We recently had the opportunity to check out the new album “The Once A Virgin Club” from Belgian Punks F.O.D.

You can listen to “The Once A Virgin Club” Here

    Photo: Janssens

It’s almost impossible not like F.O.D. , they have a style and sound that absolutely down right brilliant.

Infusing their sound with harmonies and catchy melodies, F.O.D. draws inspiration from legendary 90s predecessors like Green Day, Descendents, Lagwagon, and Bad Religion while adding their unmistakable twist.

From the opening track “Plain Sight” it is clear that F.O.D. Is showcasing their one of a kind energy on “The Once A Virgin Club” and we freaking love it .

The most recent album from the band, ‘Sleepville,’ transcended the confines of punk rock, guiding listeners through a musical odyssey complemented by an accompanying book.
Unfortunately, due to the impact of Covid, it couldn’t have the release party and tours it rightfully deserved. With this new album ‘Once A Virgin Club’, F.O.D. returns to their roots with fast, catchy melodic punk rock songs.

The album title alludes to the band members aging, reminiscing about the time when they first formed a band as inexperienced youngsters (pre-FOD), eager to explore the world of music.

Our favorite track on the album is “Back To Where You Once Belonged “ The track is an absolute melodic gem, we found ourselves hitting repeat on this one quite a bit .

You can check out the video below

With flawless vocals and catchy melodies, “The Once A Virgin Club “ from F.O.D. Is a record you can’t miss.

Blowfuse Make Beautiful Noise With New Album “The 4th Wall”

We recently had the amazing opportunity to check out the new album “4th Wall” via Sbäm Records from Barcelona based punks Blowfuse .

You can listen to “4th Wall” Here

First of all “4th Wall” from Blowfuse, is the kind of record that make people fall in love with Punk Rock . The band has crafted an absolutely flawless collection of incredible songs .

The 4th Wall” is a look into Blowfuse’s naked mind. Its enigmatic cover art reflects a concept rather than just an image: the prison of perspective. The band’s new album aims to remind both the listener and the members themselves that freedom is a pendulum that swings between denial and acceptance. Side to side, relentless. And in that constant swinging we build the foundations of our identity from a young age. As an exercise in introspection, Blowfuse’s fourth album is, at its core, about hope. The hope that one day, each one of us will rise up and break out of our own prisons.

And when that happens, we will realize that the walls of our cells were just a matter of perspective. Taking this into consideration, it is logical that the band has defied all the genres previously associated with it. However, one thing is clear: energy and vitality are two adjectives Blowfuse will never be able to get rid of.

There is so many different vibes and sounds that are present on “4th Wall” Blowfuse mainly a punk band beautifully shows off their versatility with “4th Wall”

From the opening note of “Move On “ you can’t help but hopelessly fall in love with the perfect melodies of Blowfuse.

There honestly isn’t a bad song anywhere to be found on “4th Wall” “Wish”, “I Give You My Word”, are all well written songs that make “4th Wall” an epic listening experience.

Recorded at Music Lan Studi (Girona), EM Estudi (Terrassa) and Amplifire Studio (Barcelona) and mixed by Jason Livermore of The Blasting Room (CO, US) and mastered by Brian Gardner (US), the album is available on Sbäm Records (AU), HFMN CREW (SP), Infected Records (PT) and Epidemic Records (IT). We are all in on Blowfuse and their magnificent new record “4th Wall”

What began in 2014 as a local punk rock festival in a 1500-capacity club, has grown into a massive stadium-sized 2-day destination event, featuring the punk scene’s biggest and brightest, while keeping its independent DIY roots intact.

Festival founder Rishi Bahl said, 10 years is a long time. Most things that you were into 10 years ago have not survived, so to reach the 10th anniversary of Four Chord Music Fest is something we are very proud of. We really tried to make this one the biggest and best one yet and are stoked to spend the weekend with all of you at our brand new, historical landmark of a location, The Carrie Furnace. Get out the sunscreen and bring the Advil, it is going to be a party.”

This year, Four Chord Fest welcomes the nonprofit partner Biggies Bullies. Established in 2011, this Pittsburgh-centered organization is dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of pitbull-type dogs in both Pittsburgh and its neighboring regions.

Additional sponsors include Monster Energy Drink, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and Captain Morgan.

Fire Sale Deliver Absolute Melodic Perfection, With Epic New 2 Song Single “The Albatross “

We are over the moon excited that we finally get to check out the new 2 song single “The Albatross “ and “I Remember Damage “ from L.A. melodic punk supergroup Fire Sale, which, is out today ( February 9th) via the awesome folk at Negative Progression Records.

You can feast your ears on the melodic goodness of “The Albatross “ and the equally amazing B-side “I Remember Damage” Here

We make no secret about how we feel about Fire Sale here at The Whole Kameese. Heck if it wasn’t for Fire Sale and “That One Time On Tour “ podcast there would be no The Whole Kameese . Fire Sale a punk rock supergroup composed of Matt Riddle (Face to Face and No Use For A Name), Chris Swinney (The Ataris), Pedro Aida (Ann Beretta), Matt Morris and Brad Edwards are the text book definition of what amazing melodic punk should sound like .

The latest offering from Fire Sale, is a 2 song single “The Albatross “ that is without question Fire Sale at their absolute best.

The single was mixed at the world famous Blasting Room and features hand painted art from Mark DeSalvo (NOFX,Lagwagon)

There is this immediate cinematic vibe to “The Albatross “ that really makes it stand out . It is also clear that the level of musicianship within Fire Sale is off the charts

Everything on “The Albatross “ is well thought out and orchestrated perfectly giving way to a unique melodic punk sound that brilliantly infuses a pop punk sound and a prog-rock feel that makes for a one of kind musical experience. Lyrics delve into the difficult issue of gun violence and scream for a change.

Singer Pedro Aida says, The Albatross is about the frustrating and hopeless feeling we have when we send our children to school and the worry of bullying, bad grades, and drug use have been overshadowed by the fear that they won’t come home at all.” Guitarist Chris Swinney adds, “The Albatross is a song that we have been trying to write since the beginning of the band. If you grew up listening to anything on Fat or Epitaph…it is a huge nostalgic slap in the face.”

Equally impressive is B-Side I Remember Damage” which, features melodic vocals that ride the wave of driving power chords and a lead guitar riff that dances all over the fretboard. “I Remember Damage” is an absolute gem that showcases the one of a kind energy that makes Fire Sale such an electrifying musical tour de force .

S/J Gets Emotional With Latest single “Never Win” featuring Liv Wallace Of breakme!

We recently got a chance to check out the stunning new single “Never Win” from S/J ( the solo project of folk/punk musician Seth Jude Richard featuring Liv Wallace, the singer of breakme!, who is also known for her countless acoustic punk covers which she shares on Instagram and Facebook.

You can listen to “Never Win” on Spotify Here and Apple Music Here

S/J says, Never win is a song about meeting love and the things we do to keep it, or sabotage it. Some feel maybe we don’t deserve love.”

S/J, Seth Jude Richard, is a south Louisiana boy who now lives in Florida. Growing up in a French rich culture, his grandfather introduced him to Cajun French music and acoustic music at a very young age. By the time he was 9, Seth would pick up a guitar and start to dream big. At the young age of 12, he entered the world of punk rock and started on what would be a long journey of touring and many experiences. Starting his own band, Layden and the Lion, (Little Rocket Records) he would record with Aaron Gillespie of Underoath, who would also produce and play drums on the record, The Lucky Ones. He also played bass for Ten Foot Pole on the Escalating Quickly Tour a few years ago. After Covid, Seth decided to embark on a solo journey to release his upcoming debut album, “Black Magnolias”. With a hectic touring schedule and raising two boys, he sees no end in sight.

Music is in our opinion the most beautiful and honest to express yourself. On “Never Win” featuring Liv Wallace from breakme! , S/J has crafted an emotional ballad that is simply breathtaking.

From the melody and lyrics “Never Win “ is total music perfection.

Find yourself your favorite music listening spot and get lost in all the emotions of “Never Win” from S/J featuring Liv Wallace from breakme!

Punk legends T.S.O.L. release soundtrack to documentary film IGNORE HEROES

The original motion picture soundtrack of the T.S.O.L. documentary IGNORE HEROES is now available digitally and on vinyl via DC-Jam Records and record stores worldwide.

The soundtrack is composed by band member Greg Kuehn and includes his piano interpretations of classic T.S.O.L songs, interspersed with spoken word by punk legend and band frontman Jack Grisham.

You can listen to “IGNORE HEROES Here

Directed by Grisham, IGNORE HEROES tells the story of the original T.S.O.L. through interviews with the surviving members and those who were there with them in the madness of the early Californian punk rock scene.

Jack Grisham is an unconventional artist, and his directorial debut film is an unconventionally structured documentary that tells the fractured fairytale of one of the most violent bands in American history. T.S.O.L. exploded onto the Southern California hardcore punk scene in 1978 from the ashes of the notoriously antisocial Long Beach band Vicious Circle and, over the span of five foundational years, managed to record two EPs and two LPs with Grisham that continue to find new audiences 40 years later. Singer/songwriter Grisham was the handsome and hulking suburban ringmaster who commandeered audiences of thousands and was poised to become something of an accidental death rock revolutionary before dropping out of the scene to pursue synthesizer-oriented music and his own personal demons. Through colorful standup monologues, raw archival footage, animation and interviews with the people who made it all happen, IGNORE HEROES candidly contextualizes the excesses that fueled the inexorable crash and burn of TRUE SOUNDS OF LIBERTY!”

Greg Kuehn, originally a classical pianist, shifted to punk in Orange County, joining punk icons T.S.O.L. and producing the acclaimed “Beneath the Shadows” album. He later collaborated with artists like Bob Dylan, The Church, Berlin, and Megan Mullally, and performs occasionally with LA punk band X, stepping in for the late Ray Manzarek of The Doors. His latest EP ‘Medicine Man’ is out now via DC Jam Records.

    Upcoming Show:

January 6 – Observatory- Santa Ana, CA (with guests 45 Grave, Bad Cop Bad Cop, The Detours, Taken Days The Venomous Pinks and more).

We are beyond thrilled for “Ignore Heroes “ This definitely one documentary you can not miss.

UK Trio Raisin Awareness Release “Living Colour”, Urging Society to Break the Cycle of Miscommunication and Self-Involvement

    Artwork- Daggie Wieczorek

We are not going to pull punches here… we love everything about UK trio Raisin Awareness. We were psyched to check out their new single and video for “Living Colour

You can listen to “Living Colour “ on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here

You can watch the video for “Living Colour” below. The video was filmed and edited by Rob Piper

Jo D, the band’s lead vocalist, and guitarist, says, Put simply, Living Colour is about our inability to actively or compassionately listen to one another, particularly when communicating needs and wants in a relationship, because we’re all so desperate to feel heard.

This is why the song repeats ‘…heard it all before…’ because sometimes it feels like the same conversation occurs over and over, and that it’s just going around in circles. No solution or agreement is reached.

When I refer to “all the shameful things in the world” and imply that we all just walk by ignoring them, it touches on how self involved we can be and if we took a step back to really see the bigger picture, maybe we can all be more kind, compassionate and understanding of one another.

As much as I try, I am fully aware of how guilty I am of not compassionately or actively listening, and how self involved I can be sometimes, but the awareness I have of this flaw means I’m at least able to try a little harder.

Communication isn’t just about speaking, it’s about listening too. I think we sometimes forget that.”

Raisin Awareness is a passionate pop-punk band hailing from the UK. The band formed in 2020 during lockdown when Jo (vocals/guitar) and Rob (drums) seized their creative opportunity. Soon after, Daggi joined on bass, making them an unshakable musical trifecta inspired by bands such as Hot Mulligan, The Swellers, The Flatliners & The Menzingers, and an 80s/90s mashup of genres.

Raisin Awareness are able to brilliantly bring an electrifying sound that is both melodically and sonically pleasing. “Living Colour” is simply a can’t miss track .

LA-based, all-female Latina punk trailblazers Go Betty Go return with We Talk A Lot,” the second track off their upcoming return EP ‘Black and Blue.’

We have also loved the sound and vibe of Go Betty Go and we are head overs heels in love with their latest single “We Talk A Lot

Vilar says, “‘We Talk A Lot’ is a song that dives into that feeling we all feel and have felt, when you’re falling in love with a friend, partner, life, etc… and you just want to take off on an adventure together and have it never end. It’s a wonderful place to be and hopefully, everyone has a chance to experience that at least once in their life. And if it hasn’t happened to you yet, it’s a glimpse into what it could be like and a way to look forward to the day it does happen. The song comes from a sincere place. I had so much fun illustrating and animating the lyric video for this song. I tapped into graphic skills that I hadn’t done in years, so it was truly a fun project from start to finish.”

Formed in 2000, in the suburbs of Glendale, California, they entered the LA scene when they were all teens. Go Betty Go is driven by Betty Cisneros’ big, roaring guitar, singer Nicolette Vilar’s soulful, siren call and the momentous urgency of Michelle Rangel’s bass and Aixa Vilar’s tumultuous drumming.

In 2022, Go Betty Go was hit yet again with their most difficult challenge to date. As the band prepared to enter the studio and record their next album, Betty was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. The news was hard, but it brought them closer than ever.

They worked around Betty’s grueling doctor visits, chemotherapy, and surgeries, and when she was having her better days, they managed to squeeze out their latest studio recording “Black and Blue”.

Go Betty Go are one of those special bands that you can’t help fall in love with . “We Talk A lot” is a fun and addictive musical gem that reminds us why we love music so much .

Handheld are releasing a new single called “Once Again” to celebrate the band’s 25th anniversary. The song was initially released as ONCE on their debut album “HOMEBREW” in 1998.

    Andy Dietrich of Handheld commented

“In 1998 a few guys in high school started a punk rock band. One of the first songs they ever recorded was called “Once”, which became the first song off their debut record. It was a snapshot of youthful dreams and aspirations. Fast forward to the present day, and Handheld has revisited that iconic track with a retrospective twist that tugs at the heartstrings. The passage of time has added layers of depth and emotion, turning what was once a hopeful anthem into a poignant journey through the years. Or something like that…

We have long been fans of Handheld. The brings an infectious vibe and energy to their music , that you just can’t resist “Once Again” is a tune you have to check out

Don’t Panic Delivers An Absolutely Brilliant New Album “Setting Up To Fail

We recently had the opportunity to check out the brand new album “Setting Up To Fail” from Northeast Pennsylvania’s. Don’t Panic

You can listen to “Setting Up To Fail “ Here

We found ourselves hanging onto every word. “Setting Up Fail “ is the kind of album that you can play without skipping over a single . It is 34 minutes and 1 second of time well spent.

Formed in the Pocono Mountains of northeast Pennsylvania in 2009, Don’t Panic is named after the Douglas Adams-penned favorite novel of founding vocalist/guitarist Ted Felicetti.

Joining Ted were Keith Slader (bass), Anthony Paesano (drums) and AJ Larsen (guitar).

The five-piece’s simple mission since day one has been to make genuine, fun rock and roll music.

Don’t Panic has a sound and vibe that is so original and authentic. We marveled at the flawless vocals coupled with inspiring melodies.

After an almost decade-long hiatus ending in 2019, The band released its first full-length effort ‘See Through It All’ in 2020 and then a follow-up full-length with ‘Dark Horse’ in Sept 2021.

Drawing off their collective influences from bands like Bayside, Millencolin, Foo Fighters, & No Use for a Name, Don’t Panic’s third full-length album ‘Setting Up To Fail’ arrives following a very busy year and a half on the road touring in the U.S and U.K and performing with the likes of Less than Jake, Bowling for Soup, The Ataris, The Spill Canvas, Face to Face, Alien Ant Farm, Lit, Mest and tons others.

Of the new album, Felicetti says, We have been at it for 4 years now. Powered through a worldwide pandemic and wrote and released two albums in that time. But, I can say without a shadow of a doubt, this new record is this band finally stepping into its own. The songs are the most matured versions of our writing abilities and I have never been more proud to release something with my name on it. It’s the perfect mix of the rock and roll bands I grew up on like the Foo Fighters, and my punk rock roots listening to bands like Face to Face and No Use for a Name. “Newer” bands like Bayside and the Menzingers also played a major role in shaping the songwriting here, and I am more than happy to lean into that when the time calls for it– but all while shaping and creating our own sound and feel. In our own lives we have never belonged, but with this record I finally feel like we have a place.”

Setting Up To Fail “ is full of well written gems that prove that Don’t Panic are band that you can’t afford to miss .

We found ourselves totally taken with every song, We loved the opening track “Photographs”it is the perfect track to start off an album. Our favorite track on the album is “Just A Call Away “ this song is, Don’t Panic at their absolute best . We cut the “Night Owl” video in Los Angeles. The streets of the city are the place where we spent so many reckless nights running from rock show to rock show, cutting our teeth in the music scene. We’re a different kind of Night Owl now, making music & allowing creativity to happen after we put the kids to sleep” – says bassist and singer Kelly Ogden.

The song has already been deemed The Coolest Song In The World on Sirius XM’s Underground Garage, garnering a featured spot with heavy rotation. The Night Owls full-length album will be out on October 13 on Wicked Cool Records. You can pre-order it here direct from the band:Here

The album can also be Pre-Saved on all digital platforms Here

For Night Owls, The Dollyrots once again enlisted longtime collaborator John Fields (Jimmy Eat World, All Time Low, Meet Me At the Altar) who is responsible for the bulk of production credit. The Atom Age Deliver Electrifying New Single And Video

We recently checked out Bay Area garage Punk rockers The Atom Age and their killer new single and video for “High Class Motherfuckers”via Asian Man Records

You can listen to “Highclass Motherfuckers Here You can watch the video Here

We absolutely love everything about The Atom Age, they have a vibe and sound that is so authentic and electric.

It took a while for me to realize that you’re gonna drive yourself insane comparing other people’s success to your own. I think writing this song helped me figure that out,” said vocalist and guitarist Peter Niven about the track. The combination of electric vocals, fuzz-out riffs, and moody garage sludge gives the message a powerful base to stand on. The carefully-crafted catharsis that follows pays homage to the sound of decades past and establishes The Atom Age as garage-punk renaissance paragons.

The new single deftly displays The Atom Age’s songwriting prowesses and their meteoric energy. This is only reinforced in the music video where the band lets loose on a rooftop in between shots of Niven playing into the track’s criticism of the overly-serious and prescriptively boring. He dances for the camera, strikes a pose, and eventually finds himself donning a crown and royal mantle.

Peter Niven delivers raw, zealous vocals and guitar alongside guitarist Ryan Perras, drummer Tim Harman, saxophonist Brendan Frye, organist Fred Brott’s organ, and bassist Randy Moore. The sextet bring a groovy, brass-tinged perspective to rock and roll, resonant with sounds like The Hives, The Sonics, The Cramps, and Rocket From The Crypt.

It’s not really about the words, those are just a reason to scream,”says Niven

The Atom Age are old school cool with infectious grooves and melodies you can’t ignore . If music is your jam this your band

So Cal Latino Garage Surf Punks 3LH Delivers Epic New Single “Blue Collar Blues”

We recently had the opportunity to check out “Blue Collar Blues “ via My Grito from So Cal Latino Garage Surf Punks 3LH

You can listen to “Blue Collar Blues “ Here

It’s bands like 3LH that fuel our love affair for music . The intoxicating sound of 60’s surf mixed with punk and garage band vibes topped with an amazing guitar sound make 3LH a band you can’t afford to miss .

“Blue Collar Blues “ caught our attention immediately with a sound and style like nothing we’ve ever heard .

Frontman Rafa Heredia says, This is a song about self reflection after having maybe a pint too many at your favorite divey hole in the wall, it’s a callback to tracks like “Alabama song (Whisky Bar)” by The Doors – the song lends itself to telling a fun twisted story while not taking itself too seriously.”

Comprised of Rafa Heredia (Guitar/ Vocals), Johnny Villanueva (Keys/Guitar) Kevin Carranza (Drums) Favian Vega (Bass), 3LH deliver the tones of the likes of guitar virtuosos like Link Wray, The Kinks, mixed with the garage / punk sensibilities of modern acts like The Growlers, The Frights and Tijuana Panthers.

We can’t wait for more music from 3LH but, in the meantime we will just put “Blue Collar Blues “ on repeat and enjoy.

Wicked Bears- Without A Doubt Shine Bright With Wicked Good New Video +Single “Hypothetically “

New Album “Underwater” via Wiretap Records out March 3rd

Where we’re from “Wicked” is deemed to mean that something is really good .

The same can be said for Salt Lake City pop punk trio Wicked Bears and their new single and video “Hypothetically” both are wicked good.

You can listen to “Hypothetically “ on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here you can also check out the video below.

The band says, “”Hypothetically is not a love song. It is about the perils of love and the hope of love, but it’s not a love song. If, hypothetically, Hypothetically were a love song, it would probably closely resemble this song, but again, it’s not. If Hypothetically were a love song, it would be complicated like love, and moody and sentimental like love, which it is. But it’s not a love song, so don’t even think about it!”

“Hypothetically “ is a perfectly written pop punk gem that we have been running on repeat in the office . It’s the perfect song to hold us over till “Underwater” comes out March 3rd.

You can catch Wicked Bears on tour with The Littlest Man Band and Louser! See dates below

    Thick- Love You Forever

    Thick Love you Forever

We recently checked out Brooklyn DIY Punk band Thick and their new track Love You Forever. The track is the first song released by the band since their critically acclaimed debut album 5 Years Behind (2020). Referring to the track as their “first honest love song,” the band originally wrote the song as a gift for a friend’s wedding this past year. “It’s about unconditional love and getting through the hard times — knowing that love transcends all of life’s chapters,” adds THICK. “The song is meant to encapsulate the idea of loving your partners, your friends, and most of all loving yourself.

It’s great catchy tune that also comes with a fun video directed by Aimee Kuge . If you like zombies this is the video for you
