Back in April we had the privilege to chat with Ali Lipman from North Shore, Massachusetts based power pop/ emo band Cape Crush . We also spoke with Ali about the band’s upcoming show at O’Brien’s Pub in Allston MA on Saturday June, 3rd the show is OH,NICE A BENEFIT SHOW The show features Cape Crush [EP Soft Release] along with their friends ME IN CAPRIS – SHIVER- and SONDER Ali had this to say about the show “Our drummer Cody Rico is currently recovering from a major spinal surgery . In fact he recorded our EP with a broken back “ Ali went to let us know that Cody is recovering and doing better she went on to say “We want to celebrate our EP but, it’s hard to imagine Cape Crush without Cody So we are going to celebrate with a soft release with friends and helping to raise money to help him pay medical bills

Besides being the drummer for CAPE CRUSH , Cody like the other members of the band , Cody is a very active part of the Boston area music scene. The Boston music community is brighter and vibrant because of people like Cody Rico and bands like CAPE CRUSH ( Ali Lipman on guitar and vocals, James Christopher on guitar, Jake Letizia on bass, and Cody Rico on drums)
