rlyblonde
– the project of Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist Carina Allen. Spoiler Alert: You Better Be Ready… rlyblonde gives us a brilliant collection of songs that are absolutely perfect.

You can listen to the “Fantasy” EP on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here and on Soundcloud Here

You can’t help but be drawn in by rlyblonde. On the opening track “Alone” we feel major 90’s vibes combined a real organic punk sound .

On the title track “Fantasy” rlyblonde is at her absolute best as her honest and authenticity is on full display.

The ‘Fantasy’ EP is an angsty and anthemic coming-of-age journey. Marrying her cheeky lyrical chops with melodic pop-punk instrumentation, rlyblonde has created a record that doesn’t take itself too seriously. The EP’s music videos – which rlyblonde self-directed and produced under her upcoming creative production company, HOT CREATIVE – echo the tongue-in-cheek tone of the songs.

The EP is an absolute can’t miss rlyblonde gives us well crafted gems with “Spiltmilk” and the ultra catchy “Hot Girls Always Win “ ( We have been singing this one in the car with the windows open. )

The final song on the EP “My Way “ is a heartfelt well written song with flawless vocals , rlyblonde absolutely shines on this track and is at her best as she does it her way.

rlyblonde elaborates on the EP’s conception: “‘Fantasy’ is about me, about New York City, about heartbreak, following your dreams, coming out of the closet, questioning your life choices and yourself, fucking around, and then getting to know yourself all over again. It’s over the top art for the sake of over the top art. In a time when I felt super alone, I created my own ‘Fantasy’ world and it allowed me to love my own life again. It allowed me to become the person I’ve always wanted to be, and now you all get to meet her too.”

“Fantasy” from rlyblonde is a music lovers dream. This EP is a can’t miss.
