No Better Way To Celebrate Summer Than With Boston Based Air Traffic Controller , And Their Video For “EZbreezy”

Boston Band’s U.S. Summer Tour Continues Into September

So being from Boston we are so lucky and blessed to be around so many phenomenal bands . One of those phenomenal bands Air Traffic Controller have been having an eventful 2023 , their amazing new album Dash was released in November of last year and have been hitting the road headlining shows (and an opening slot with 3OH!3) in Wyoming, Colorado, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and elsewhere marked a return to the road after a four-year period of recording and the pandemic, and became the revamped band’s first chance to showcase Dash live

Air Traffic Controller used some of their downtime from touring by returning to Massachusetts to shoot their “EZbreezy” music video which, premiered today via 88.9 WERS-FM Boston’s #1 college radio station

EZbreezy”is the perfect summer jam leading into ATC’s tour dates starting later this week and into early September. The video features only the locations from what was originally a complicated storyline crafted by ATC leader Dave Munro. Director Jasper Hamilton talked the band into ditching the script and just being themselves for this one.

“Jasper was right!” Munro says. “Between the pool, the boat, and the fire, we had a blast and made one of our easiest and best ATC music videos ever. You get the spirit of the band, our friendship and the fun we have just hanging out — or as we like to call it, keeping it ‘EZbreezy.’”

We have weathered the changes in and around this band, and we’re coming out stronger,” Munro says. “The best way to show our fans our gratitude is in person, to give every bit of ourselves to the folks who stuck with us through it all, and build it back up.”

Successful live shows and new band member chemistry has allowed for ATC to reach new heights on Spotify, hitting 429K+ monthly followers for the first time. Additionally, the streaming hit “This Is Love” has reached over 25 million streams, and “You Know Me” is the band’s first “calling card” hit, beloved by all fans and their second top performing song, with nearly 14 million streams — all of this on Spotify alone.

Munro is looking forward to continuing ATC’s momentum near their home base.

The shows we have next in the Northeast all feel like a homecoming, as well as an album release, as this will be our first time playing the Boston area since DASH came out,” Munro explains. “We get to play for our core fans now that they’ve had some time to absorb this music. That helps! Hearing the audience sing back is always a thrill, but when it’s the new stuff — it’s pure joy.”

We have been fans of Air Traffic Controller for a long time and we are absolutely loving their latest chapter . While serving in the U.S. Navy as an air traffic controller, singer-songwriter Dave Munro sent home demos of his songs. This was the first chapter of ATC. Over the next decade, Dave created timeless and classic indie-folk-pop music that is heartfelt, luscious and authentic. From the Boston scene, the band released four critically applauded albums and toured steadily with an electrifying group now made up of Dave Munro, drummer Adam Salameh, bassist Joe Campbell, guitarist Bobby Borenstein, vocalist-keytarist Emi McSwain, and multi-instrumentalist Steve Scott.

It’s time to relax and have a “EZbreezy” summer with Air Traffic Controller
