“Hyperfocused “ is every you want and more.Wilmette, have their foot on the gas from the first note in “No Conviction “ all the way through to the end of “Out Of My Hands” It truly is 30 minutes and 42 seconds of pop punk greatness.

Guitarist Griffin Guge says “For us, this album has been a mixture of what we’ve done before and what we’ve individually wanted to try at some point in our lives. It strongly diverges from where we’ve gone, but still maintains the juxtaposition of genres that we’ve always tried to maintain. Celebrating the release of this album at the Subterranean on August 31st is a huge honor for us considering that we haven’t been able to play many shows in recent years. We hope the excitement is going strong, because we plan on giving it our all.”

When Wilmette, hits the stage at the Subterranean, they will be celebrating an album in “Hyperfoucsed “ that is straight up magnificent.

“Hyperfocused” is chock full with stunning melodies, brilliant guitar work and stunning vocals . Wilmette makes the kind of music that you can not only hear , but you feel it in your soul . We found ourselves loving “Small Talk” and the powerful “No One Knew” Honestly there is not a bad song to be found.

We were first introduced to Wilmette, with their release of their single “Circa ‘99” , not only is the song amazing but, they released a Guitar Hero inspired video directed by Alex Zarek. You can check out the video below

We have a feeling you will be investing a lot of time with this record. Wilmette, have delivered an absolute gem .
