We’ve said it before but, we think it bears repeating. The music coming out of the Boston area right now is simply beyond amazing. If you need proof then look no further than a new 3-way split EP called Good Dogs Wear Capes, set to release on January 24, 2025. The EP features Cape Crush , Good June and Impossible Dog . They will release a song a week up until the release of “Good Dogs Wear Capes” Last week we were treat to “Apple At The Aggy” from Cape Crush , featuring Good June .

This week we further get to experience pure alternative/emo perfection with “Better In The Morning “ from Good June , featuring Cape Crush .

“Better In The Morning “, from Good June , featuring Cape Crush is one of those songs that is so well written and performed that you can’t help but get completely consumed by its musical goodness. We were also really taken by the overall tone and killer harmonies on “Better In The Morning” , making the track extremely pleasing to the ears.

The single was mixed by Nicholas Starraninto, Mastered by: Pierce Johnston Mastering and vocals engineered by Evan Doherty and Walker Bristol.

In addition to the 3-way split EP, the bands will celebrate with a Split Release Show at Deep Cuts in Medford, MA, on January 31, 2025, bringing this collaboration to life in an unforgettable night of music.
