The band shares, “Methamphetamine is about the sad reality of addiction. Being aware of the hurt you cause yourself and others, but internally having the desire to change even when the cards are stacked against you.” In support of the new release, Surfing for Daisy will continue touring throughout the year, including a highly anticipated appearance in Chicago, IL at Lollapalooza on the BMI Stage, Sunday, August 2^nd from 2:10-2:50PM. Surfing for Daisy began on a porch in Asbury Park, NJ, among a circle of new and old friends. Their sound is rooted in alternative folk rock with touches of psychedelia, though it ultimately resists easy categorization, moving fluidly between genres and moods. The band has quickly gained momentum, performing at the Sea.Hear.Now Festival in September 2025 in front of thousands.
