Keeper Comes Up Aces With Latest Single/Video- “Alright//Too Slow”

We recently had the distinct honor to check out the latest single/video, for “Alright//Too Slow”, from rising South London Pop-Punk gem Keeper. You can listen to “Alright//Too Slow” on Spotify Here, Apple Music Here

You can check out the blazing video, for “Alright//Too Slow” ( which is an absolute work of art) below

“Alright//Too Slow “, from Keeper, is an infectious adrenaline rush, that we simply can’t get out of our soul!

Following on from the release of his latest singles ‘Taste It’ and ‘Cynical’ – which garnered high praise from BBC Radio 1 Introducing Rock show host Alyx Holcombe and others –  Keeper explores recovery and self-love in his latest single ‘Alright/Too Slow’.

On ‘Alright/Too Slow’, Keeper’s Emanuel Andrade shared ‘This track […] is about acknowledging the damage and pain but refusing to let it define you. It’s about pulling yourself up, moving on, and chasing the goals that once felt hindered by the relationship.’

Discussing the lyrical content, Keeper continued – ‘one of my favorite moments is the fourth-wall break after the solo: ‘It’s so hard to accept the fact that I’m feeling better alone. You’re losing sleep and I’m out here, still singing this song’. That line hits especially hard because, despite being blocked, my ex has found new ways to reach out—new Instagram accounts, new numbers. It’s honestly terrifying, and this song is a very real reflection of that for me. When I find myself in those moments, I listen back—almost like I’m speaking to myself. It makes me realize just how much I’ve changed, how far I’ve come, and all the steps I’ve taken—not just to get back to normal, but to be better.’

There is so much to love about, Keeper, and his electrifying approach to music, it honestly is so refreshing to hear an artist who doesn’t take their foot off the gas, even for a second.

Music is meant to be exciting and exhilarating, and you definitely get that on “Alright//Too Slow” from Keeper

It is in our opinion, not if Keeper, will be the next big thing but…. When

SOPHIE POWERS JOINS FORCES WITH RJ PASIN ON NEW SINGLE “XO” AND …. IT’S AMAZING!

Artwork by Tegh Rataul (@teghrataul)

We recently had the opportunity to check out the new single, “XO”, from Sophie Powers and producer RJ Pasin. You can listen to , “XO” Here

“XO”, is an explosive new single that plunges into a chaotic, cinematic soundscape where hyperpop’s frenetic energy collides with the raw power of metalcore.

Press Photo by Colleen McPhillips (@cardboardsweater)

XO” captures the emotional volatility of a generation overwhelmed by societal pressure but unwilling to stay silent. With piercing, unapologetic vocals and a sharp lyrical perspective, Sophie cuts through the noise with fearless clarity. The result is a track that feels both defiant and cathartic, grounded in Sophie’s emotionally unfiltered delivery and signature melodic punch.

“‘XO’ is pure femme fatale energy—like kissing destruction on the mouth,” Sophie shares. “Working with RJ Pasin unlocked this wild sonic tension I’ve been chasing for a while. It’s the sound of me stepping into womanhood, claiming my power, and still recklessly chasing chaos like it’s love. As Hannah Montana said, sometimes you really do get the best of both worlds—and this song is proof. My voice wraps around RJ’s guitar in a way that feels both raw and hypnotic, but it’s that mysterious, unhinged energy that gives ‘XO’ its heartbeat.”

Driving the track’s sonic intensity is RJ Pasin, the multi-hyphenate producer known for fusing cinematic metalcore with emo rap and electronic math rock. RJ injects “XO” with glitch-heavy textures, punishing breakdowns, and a jolt of unpredictability. With over 300 million solo streams and credits alongside Sexy Redd, Flo Milli, Bring Me The Horizon, and more, RJ brings both subcultural grit and forward-thinking precision to the collaboration, amplifying Sophie’s voice without ever overshadowing it.

“XO”, from Sophie Powers, featuring RJ Pasin, is an electrifying, powerful thrill ride of a track that we are absolutely mesmerized by.

Keeper , Delivers Hyper- Pop-Punk Gem, “Taste It”

We recently had the stellar opportunity, to check out the new single, “Taste-It”, from London’s prince of Hyper-Pop-Punk, Keeper.

“Taste-It”, is the first single from the upcoming 2025, EP, “Cabin Fever”

You can listen to “Taste-It” on Spotify Here, Apple Music , Hete

Taste It’ shows Keeper in a new light. Written alongside As Everything Unfolds’ Jon Cass, and producers Matt Thorne and Song Higginson, ‘Taste It’ offers a deep personal insight into a period of darkness – recovering from a global pandemic, losing loved ones, and escaping an abusive relationship, among other things.

Where there once was frustration and disdain towards the project – and songwriting in general – Emanuel Andrade now displays a sound and feel which is true to himself; pure, genuine, and secure, with a strain of mid ‘00s Emo nostalgia.

On ‘Taste It’Keeper said “I’ve gone back to my roots, but now I’ve added all these new styles and influences I’ve picked up over Keeper’s formative years, so, I’m far more confident with them – happy, even. ‘Taste It’ is fast-paced, loud, in your face, and heavier than most Keepertunes, and the lyrics are incredibly personal, naturally – all break-up material. I had to get SOMETHING positive out of my experiences over the last year.”

We love the high energy vibe on “Taste-It”, from Keeper. We found ourselves absolutely mesmerized with the electrifying melody of “Taste It”

But probably a more fun answer is whatever soda they decide to pick up at Cookout!,Zach added: & A few of us enjoy dabbling in all things whiskey!

We then got to check their new single “Fences” in September. remarking, “Fences” from ColorMeKrazy! is a frantic melodic blur of hype rock goodness. We were instantly hooked from note one.

We Absolutely Love The Flawless Vocals And Incredible Vibe On “My Ex” From Royal She .

We recently had the spectacular opportunity to check out the new single “My Ex” from Los Angeles-based rock duo Royal She. You can listen to “My Ex on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here

Comprised of vocalist Alison Freed and multi-instrumentalist Alexandria Reyes, Royal She first caught attention with their inventive Billie Eilish cover, “My Girl”, and has since built momentum with their original hit “Rollercoaster” (co-written by Freed and Adaline) a track that was notably synced for a major motion picture and released as an official remix by Mojave Phone Booth. Their dynamic sound echos the energy of bands like PVRIS and Paramour, delivering a distinctive fusion of rock, pop, and electronic influences.

We are absolutely in love with “My Ex” from Royal She. There is something very special and unique about this track , the melody and vocals are absolutely magnificently magical. The vocals have this old time feel to them that give the song a totally new dimension that we positively love.

“My Ex” serves as a precursor to their highly anticipated album, “Befores and Afters”, set for release in early 2025. Produced by Logan Mader and mixed by the renowned Chris Lord-Alge, it blends their signature genre-spanning style with an edgy storytelling dynamic. The biting break-up anthem is a searing response to a toxic ex with high-octane pop melodies, a propulsive rock beat, and an irresistible forward motion, culminating in the powerful rap-inspired bridge that hammers the message home.  As the harmony-laced vocals deliver the ultimate message, “‘I’ve never hated anyone / anyone, anyone / and then there was you,” a necessary but explosive energy reverberates until the very last chord fades. Check out Royal She’s new single, “My Ex,” it’s an epic musical experience that will warm any music loving heart

ColorMeKrazy! Deliver An Electrifying New Single “EX Friend “

We recently had the amazing opportunity to check out the new single “Ex-Friend “ from Raleigh, North Carolina based hype rock band ColorMeKrazy!

You can check out the stunning new single “Ex-Friend on Spotify Here and on Apple Music Here

If we are being honest (and if you are a regular with the Whole Kameese, you know honest is all we ever are ) ColorMeKrazy has a brilliantly original sound that will literally stop you dead in your tracks. We were captivated by “Ex-Friend , by ColorMeKrazy from note one , it was love at first listen.

ColorMeKrazy ( Mia Brunel, vocals, Tom DeTrick, guitarist, Zach Gehr, drums, Drew Hutchins, guitarist and bassist Edward Lee ) the band may just be getting started but they operate like a well oiled machine. The stunning vocals of Mia Brunal mixed with the expert level musicianship of the rest of the band make for can’t miss musical experience.

The seeds were planted for ColorMeKrazy in 2023, when vocalist & producer Mia Brunal teamed up with guitarist & recording engineer Tom Detrick to meld the saccharine aesthetic & sensibilities of modern hyperpop artists (Brakence, 100 Gecs, Charlie XCX) with the powerful, dark, scream-crying-in-the-rain-angst of yesteryear’s emo titans (My Chemical Romance, Senses Fail, Taking Back Sunday) into a brand new, never before heard sound. Dotingly, they call this new genre “Hyper-Rock.”

Soon after the band’s inception, their musical path collided with that of another duo, consisting of producer/drummer Zach Gehr, & guitarist/creative visionary Drew Hutchins. The lineup would be completed with the inclusion of music-major bassist Edward Lee

We are all in on ColorMeKrazy and can’t wait to see what they do next, so do yourself a favor and get lost in the musical goodness of “Ex-Friend” from ColorMeKrazy.

What began in 2014 as a local punk rock festival in a 1500-capacity club, has grown into a massive stadium-sized 2-day destination event, featuring the punk scene’s biggest and brightest, while keeping its independent DIY roots intact.

Festival founder Rishi Bahl said, 10 years is a long time. Most things that you were into 10 years ago have not survived, so to reach the 10th anniversary of Four Chord Music Fest is something we are very proud of. We really tried to make this one the biggest and best one yet and are stoked to spend the weekend with all of you at our brand new, historical landmark of a location, The Carrie Furnace. Get out the sunscreen and bring the Advil, it is going to be a party.”
