We recently had the honor of listening to “Caught Beneath The Water” by New Zealand father -daughter duo Høvding.

Nika Jane who is 17 (vocals) and Geoff Duncan ( Melodic composition) wonderfully craft a melodically rich track that has deep nordic roots that transports you to another time and place where magic and mystery are around every corner .

Høvding which means “Cheif” it is also the name of the ship that took Nika’s ancestors from their homeland in Norway to settle in New Zealand .
