Maryjo says, “I wrote stop sign about 4-5 years ago. It was my first relationship. It was probably one of the first, if not THE first song i wrote about the break up. I remember being confused and alone but reminiscing on all the first memories we had, and just things in general that would have reminded me of him during that time. I came across this song years later, I remember writing it helped something in me grow and process the breakup and thought by releasing it maybe others would relate.”
