Speaking on the single, songwriter and lyricist David Woolford says, “‘View From Our Window’ is us trying to reflect on moments that left us vulnerable and scared. The verses describe a bogeyman-type figure who lives in a place that echoes our childhood nightmares. As you get older, the monsters you were once so scared of change, but really, it’s your fears that change. The line ‘great big rooms but little beds’ was our way of describing how big the world felt (and still feels), and how small and unable we sometimes feel when it comes to making a change or difference, especially within ourselves. ‘View From Our Window’ is the perception that we need to stay alone and not allow anyone in, as they may hurt us, but at the same time, being scared of our own company.”

Following a run of standout, attention-grabbing performances at SXSW this year, Adult Leisure are incredibly proud to announce that they have signed a worldwide bookings deal with William Morris Endeavour (WME), marking a significant step forward for the band, as they continue their rise in 2026.
