Jeff DeVito “Landmines”

We were so excited to listen to the new single “Landmines” from Northern NJ alt rock artist Jeff DeVito. and….. he doesn’t disappoint.

“Landmines” is a beautifully crafted alt-pop gem . We were instantly hooked with the spectacular piano driven melody at the beginning. DeVito is a highly skilled songwriter who’s lyrical wit is second to none

We can hear many solid influences in “Landmines” ( The Beach Boys and The Beatles )come to mind However, Jeff DeVito’s brand of unbelievable Alt-pop goodness makes the song unmistakably his. Landmines is flush with ear-worm vocal melodies, heavenly harmony vocals, and a beautifully-composed lyrical guitar solo. The song’s happy-go-lucky spirit is in sharp contrast to its bleak lyrics, an intriguing juxtaposition borne out in cheeky dualities like in the chorus refrain when Jeff simply sings: We had sunshine / Walking on landmines.

You can listen to “Landmines” Here We can’t until we get to hear more music, because we just know it’s going great .
