“For Your Troubles “ , perfectly captures the melodic and songwriting brilliance of Maggie Kane.

The five-track project brings together her previously released singles “candied ginger,” “satellites,” and “fingers,” alongside two new tracks, including the opener “cigarette roads” and the closing track “3 feet.”

We were first introduced to Maggie Kane, through “candied ginger”, which was our most read review on The Whole Kameese, for 2025, “candied ginger” , was just the beginning as we began to witness Maggie, truly take flight as an artist, with the release of “satellites” and “fingers” . “satellites”, is the kind of song that you can’t help but sing along to. “fingers”, is a beautiful example of where Maggie Kane’s vocals and guitar playing effortlessly go hand and hand, creating a truly magical moment.
